Great value
This was a Christmas present for a 3 year old granddaughter. I wasnât expecting it before Christmas due to when I ordered it - surprisingly it came before I bought it based on reviews and it didnât disappoint. She was able to open the cans quite easily. She liked that the kids came off. Grandma enjoyed that as well. Bought this along with the Melissa and Doug dishes with dish rack to add to the kitchen set she received.

Only 1 can works. The other cap is faulty and too tight.
One of the caps were too tight for the cans so it does not open with the can opener unless you replace the cap very loosely. It clearly isn't supposed to be that way, because the second cap screws on well and comes off both cans with the opener like butter. For a toy that only comes with 2 cans, having 1 lid malfunction is a huge disappointment.

Great addition to your play kitchen
We bought this little set for my 3 year old for Christmas and it has gotten SO much use! The lids are very easy to unscrew on your own, or to attach the can opener and open that way. I have a can opener that works exactly the same way, so my daughter loves her smaller version. I made some felt ravioli to put inside one of the cans, and I will probably make some orange slices as well...My only wish was that the set came with more cans because it is so fun to add little felt food to them. But the set was so cheap, maybe I could just buy it again and have 2 openers.
