Dead on arrival
The HDD arrived dead and was clicking when turned on. Would not be recognized by my Synology nor by an adapter. Replacement is taking forever due to it coming from the US. 3 stars because this is the first time I'm having this issue and I have purchased lower volume drives from them before.

Brand New yet Near Failure
The hard drive has arrived in flimsy shipping plastic bag and there is no proper protective packaging inside as well. After formatting EXT4 is on my NAS it shows bad sector already and SMART reports near failure already for a brand new NAS drive. Shame I trust the brand and the seller but the logistics is bad.

2 of 5 Drives ordered arrived damaged
I ordered 5 drives for my NAS, 2 of them arrived defective. Not sure if this is because of the shipping from the US. I have ordered other numerous drives over time but never had this issue.I don't think the product itself is bad, but buying here is risky

Driver came wrapped only and not in its original box
The product came wrapped and sealed with only manufacture plastic paper not in cardboard box, the driver seems to have a dent on its body, when insert it in the NAS desk station it didn't recognise the driver is inside, tried different bays but still the NAS couldn't recognise it, probably its dead, I made a return request, its better to buy the driver from a shop just so you can make sure that it is packaged in its box

Product was already damaged when I received it
I ordered this Hard Drive and within 20 days it stopped working. Complete waste of money and unreliable. Even when I first opened the packaging it seemed like it was previously opened.

Peace of mind
Mine a big story I initially ordered WD Red plus, for my new Synology NAS 923+, to my surprise the WD redplus failed in a day, i had ordered a 10 TB x 2 WD. Once of them failed. Then returned it and then again ordered Seagate iron wolf pro 12TB X 2.Firstly their packaging was excellent, infact it’s exactly how you should ship any HDDs internationally.I installed it and it has been a charm

Funciona bien
Lo compré para reemplazar un disco de mi NAS que dañé por un descuido, lo conecté y funcionó sin problemas. Es más silencioso que los que ya tenía instalado.

Really good hard drive for my Synology DS223J
I bought two of these 14TB drives for my Synology DS223J NAS. So far they are working great! NO bad sectors or any other issue. They seem to be reliable hard drives. They aren't noisy at all. I have the NAS under my bed and I can barely hear it. They are decently priced compared to the competition. I highly recommend this product!

Seagate IronWolf Pro 14TB
I used it on my Synology DS720+. In term of price per capacity. It is a bargain but I found the disk is quite noisy. You have to choose where to put your NAS.
