Great gift for my “nerdy” co-worker. It fit his personality perfect since he loves to cook and all of the fun themes such as Harry Potter and Star Wars.

This book is way too gimmicky and contains very few dishes that seem either enjoyable or easy to get ingredients for. It's love to make the stew from LOTR but have no idea where to get rabbit, same with GOT pigeon pie, I can't just walk into a supermarket and grab a pigeon. I get that this book was written by a Frenchman for an American audience but I was hoping for more than a couple of dessert recipes that I like. Anything featuring vegetables also seems to feature mushrooms, heck the Harry Potter main course claims to be forbidden forest vegetables yet there are 4 different kinds of mushroom and then parsnips. No other vegetables. Potatoes don't count as they're a starch. I may try the minecraft cookies but that's about it.
