Very very warm but unfortunately the linings are not attached in the fingers so they ball up and the tips ride higher than your finger making it difficult to use your hands. They may as well be mittens and yes. I bought the correct size for my fingers they are not simply too big for me

Great gloves, definitely warm and well-fitting, the zip makes the fit just right. I can use my phone and watch with the gloves, but it's not particularly easy, but what do you expect with gloves this warm?

Edit: he has now worn these in the current cold snap today -1 and his finger tips are frozen and sore. He now wouldn't recommend them. He said he thinks the waterproof isn't as good either.Got these for my husband as we walk our dog in all weathers and the dark and cold. They have kept him dry and warm whilst able to hold the lead/ball thrower. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Bought these as a present for my Dad. He's really pleased with them -- says they are very warm and windproof. Fit well too (I bought large).
