Super easy to follow and modify tasty recipes for the whole fam!
Such a great and easy book to help with weaning! I was getting stuck on meal ideas since we eat a lot of salads, but Rachel does an AMAZING job of giving tons of ideas in her easy to follow and basic ingredient meals. What I love most is that there is a lot of crossover in ingredients, and they’re things you’ll most likely have on hand! Beyond that, it’s easy to modify based on what’s in your fridge. So happy we got this - we’ve already made a few recipes multiple times and they’re big hits for the whole fam!

Brilliant book
We have been using this book for around ten months now and it's easily one of the best baby-product investments we have made! Before weaning, I didn't really see the point of a baby cookbook because we were planning baby-led weaning and giving her our food. However, this book has been invaluable and made our lives so much easier. Lots of options for breakfast / lunch / dinner / snacks, and lots of prepare-ahead and freeze recipes. This means I never have to worry about getting her dinner on the table in three minutes because I always have some portions frozen, and having a freezer full of lunch items means that pulling together a baby picnic for a day out is quick and easy.Recipes are simple, nutritionally balanced and generally quick to prepare (easily within a 45 minute nap), using ingredients easily found, and the quantity sizes are a sensible balance between some portions for later and not spending too long chopping.Would definitely recommend.

Excellent and informative
I’m really happy with this book. There is all the important nutritional information at the start including tips on how to wean and what to start with. It has options for spoon or baby-led weaning.I’ve already made and frozen a few batches of some of the recipes and mostly with success. I had a problem with the dough for the sweet potato thins. I’m not sure what size a small sweet potato is but it clearly wasn’t the same size as the one I used. I will have to try this recipe again for full success.

Beautiful book, helpful advice, fun food
This is a great book - it’s a very helpful guide on weaning in general but especially useful for a vegetarian household! It’s beautifully laid out, the recipes are easy to follow with lots of tips and ideas for adapting them, and the book offers a good balance between information on weaning and the recipes themselves. A huge range of flavours, textures and colours to explore and none of the recipes are too daunting for this exhausted mum! I love that it was written with input from a nutritionist, it’s full of important advice on meeting your child’s nutritional needs without meat. Most importantly: my 7 month old is a huge fan!

A really useful and inspiring book
I really love this book. It has interesting and inspiring recipes with a simple to follow method (a must for busy and rushed new parents!). Unlike most cook books I've bought I have actually made lots of the recipes and the results are really tasty. It also has lots of helpful guidance and tips about weaning I keep referring back to. I never leave reviews but I'm so happy I bought this book I felt I had to. Really recommend this book.

Very useful
Good range of recipes and a few that our little one loves. It really helped us. It would be 5/stars if there were more dinners and fewer snacks/ treats.
