ParrotAR Drone 2.0 EPP Bottom Structure

Not too difficult to replace. It didn't come with any instructions, and there are no specific instructional videos on their website for this part, but in hindsight it's really little more than the instructions for replacing the central cross mixed with the instructions for the flight controller. I probably should have watched those. Having a heat gun or hair dryer at hand is necessary for the central cross adhesives.For those running with a hacked on R/C receiver, now is the perfect time to run the wires through the body rather than around the outside. I, of course, realized this near the end of the process and had to start over.

lost my parrot in the top of a 30 + tree. I tried to recover it no luck, I tried the shake no luck, so got pellet rifle and took a couple of shots at it to knock it down. thought I was missing it but still no luck. Had 4 10' sections of pvc pipe and finally knocked it out of the tree. when I got it, I had hit it about 10 times and one was right thru the camera ribbon. so I had no video so replaced the section (which was not to hard at all) and replaced it. works great and actually sent the 20min video to youtube and they posted it. COOL!

I crashed and ripped the front camera off my original drone body. Without the front camera, it seems the hover option was inoperative. The down facing camera was undamaged. It really upsets me that I cannot simply buy the camera as a replacement piece. I ordered this body and transferred all my pieces over. The drone once again flies as expected and hover mode works like it did before. I fly this with a 2.4 ghz receiver and radio for the added range and control. I recently added a Fatshark FPV camera to the nose. It is very different flying without being able to see all around. It is cool to see drone perspective though.

My first one had a bad front camera that jittered all over. The second on fixed that but I still don't think it is as clear as the original. But Amazon was great about sending out a replacement. The only problem is that I had also replace the main cross piece which comes with the stickers to hold it in place on the bottom hull. Sadly those get pretty messed up when you have to pry them off to take it apart again. You don't get new ones with the hull so now I have a brand new hull that looks kind of shabby with the used stickers trying to stay attached but not doing a great job.

I was happy to find this on Amazon. It works great and I was able to swap out the parts with little effort. I need this because my central cross broke in the middle and cut the ribbon cable to the front camera. I was a little surprised to find that the bottom camera was not included with this. Fortunately the old one is still working well and I was able to move it from the old hull to this one with little effort. This is the only way to get a new 720p front camera and it works well.

I had to replace the hull because if a bad crash that scratched the main camera lens. The only issue I had was that the little plastic sticky squares around the cross members didn't stick very well to the new hull. You have to peal them off of the old hull and they end up pulling a small amount of foam off with them. Not that big of a deal, just wish they had included them with the hull.

Provided the replacement part I needed, but no replacement self-adhesive plastic tabs for fastening to the cross frame. Wish it was possible to replace a camera without buying a whole body.

Great packaging. Only downfall is that you have no square "stickies" that you can place on the cross beam for the bottom structure.

Genuine product and good quality. Having flown the drone into a wall the camera parted company with the hull. This comes with both forward and downward cameras and whilst no instructions are included, it was not too difficult to replace. It is worth noting that some of the screws are star type but the AR tools (available separately) works well. Came quickly and I was back in the air much faster and cheaper than I expected at the time of the crash!

Exactly what I needed

I bought this because the downwards facing camera was very hazey and out of focus,causing the quadcopter to be unmanageable. This cured my problems although a replacement camera would have been ideal and probably cheaper.

After a severe crash I ordered this part. Exact replacement and the motherboard and cross section arms fitted perfectly. Not an easy repair, but the part was 1st class quality.
