Watch arms are chromed metal, so they are only legible on the dark face when there's some light on them. They can be difficult to see in some lighting conditions, but if you twist your wrist a little, they usually catch some light and then you can see the time. Nothing is glow-in-the-dark, so forget using the watch at night. The second-hand is bright pink, and very legible, so I guess that becomes the dynamic feature?The date feature is extremely difficult to read, as the day-of-the-week and date numbers are white, on a light pink background, so there is very little contrast. I can only read them in good lighting, and while holding my hand steady within 12-18" of my face (and I have good, uncorrected vision). That's my biggest frustration/disappointment with the watch, and a major design flaw.Other than that, the colors are striking and the watch is really sharp looking, like in the Amazon photos. The strap/wristband is an iridescent dark blue, similar to the watch face. The watch body is a darker hard plastic with less iridescence, but it works well with the face, lens, and strap.

It's a good watch.

UPDATE - I contacted Swatch UK and they sent a replacement buckle with no fussBuckle on strap broke after 6 months of normal use - never even wore in the shower let alone use in sport or swimming.Very loud ticking sound from it too, which you get used to but can be very annoying.

Nice looking watch good value very pleased with it but as it's a present not happy about the crack in the actual gift box such a pity
