I have very short gray hair - which means it’s out of control frizzy if I don’t put this in wet hair. One pump and I’m able to style my hair without any frizzy bits. I’ve used this product for years and I’ll never waste my money on anything else!!

The Chi straight guard works really well. My hair is naturally curly. So I like to change it up. This product leaves a nice shine and scent. And great heat protection for hair. And finished product is beautiful and light weight hair like from a salon.

If you live in the dry Southwest U.S. you might like it. If you live in the humid Southeast U.S., maybe not so much. I was seeking a hair product that would tame my slightly frizzy natural mature hair that is between chin-shoulder length. First, as others have stated, the pump does not work. I tried everything to get the pump to disengage from the lock position. So, finally I just opened the cap. As to how it feels: it feels and looks similar to just putting mousse in the hair; ie, it’s a bit stiff after it dries and holds its styling shape but the hair is not really smooth. When I was in the Southwest U.S. it looked smooth and maintained its shape for about 4 days, per the claim. But when I was in the Southeast(Florida), it never looked less frizzy but did hold its shape (like mousse). I followed the directions and put it on wet clean hair (I use salon-grade shampoo and conditioner), then blew it dry. That was a disaster -one big puffy frizzy head. Then I used it letting my hair dry naturally; better but still needed a flat iron. Then I added styling crème to the ends to reduce the frizz that remained. So, for me, it’s an just ok product. I will keep it because it’s better than nothing but not the best I’ve tried.

I love this styling cream! It completely eliminates frizz and leaves my hair looking sleek, polished, and incredibly shiny without feeling weighed down. It provides amazing control and keeps everything looking neat all day long. A total must-have in my routine!

Love this for my hair ..leaves it so soft without making it greasy or weighted down … Chi really makes some great products and this is one of them

This product helps with straighting my hair.

Does what it's suppose to. My hair is damaged from hair dye and this does make a big difference. I didn't realise this until I didn't use it, my hair feels so bad without it... It's superb when you blowdry your hair after applying as it lets my hair look naturally straight which means when I use the straightener its more effective, doesn't frizz, and most of all makes my hair look an inch longer! I will warn you though, as it says on the bottle it does the complete opposite if you let your hair dry naturally - I did this the first time I applied it and my hair was crazy curly and that certainly doesn't suit me. The product is better if you apply hair oil as well btw.

Je l'ai acheté parce que j'ai bcp trop regarder des vidéos de lissages des américaines!! Au final je l'utilise pour maintenir mes boucles sans ajout de gel, c'est hyper efficace! Pour le maintien du lissage je ne sais pas trop car comme c'est un texture lait...et que le lissage craint l'eau, je n'ose pas trop. Donc pour celles qui veulent éviter le gel et un maintient en douceur des boucles naturelles c'est parfait!
