Started 20 seeds 2 weeks ago, only 2 sprouted
Out of 20 seeds placed in Rockwool, the very bottom of the Rockwool placed in water so the Rockwool stays damp (of the appropriate 6.0 pH, and the water temp of 67 degrees Fahrenheit, only 1 seed sprouted. These are pretty apparently old seeds that were sent to me I am very unsatisfied and doubt I will be buying from them in the future

Sad growth rate
These did not sprout very well. Planted them all, water, fertilized...etc, and we only got a few to come up. The ones that did grow bolted very quickly and we have to nip their tips to collect a tiny handful of little leaves...oh well. Will not purchase this brand again.

Good
I didn't count them but they seemed about right. The seeds arrived in excellent condition.

Good additions to spring and fall gardens
I'm planting a crop of these in the spring and fall this year - I just worked in our spring seeds into the garden and can't wait to start seeing results in the next handful of weeks.Overall, the seed quality seemed decent. I've defiantly seen better, but there were several broken seeds and some debris that were not seeds at all. The packaging is also made of a plastic that has a clear viewing strip at the bottom, and an opaque white color on top. This tends to allow light in, something that isn't the best for seed storage. I'm also not a fan of using plastic in seed packaging when paper and glue is the standard. So far, I'm giving these a four star review, but will update after I have more results from the garden plot.

Cool weather spinach seeds can be planted now and I started indoors
Bloomsdale Spinach Seeds - 100 SeedsI'm planting these seeds in my indoor pot with a plant light and will try and move the pot outdoors on sunny, warm days. We still have two weeks of winter and a fake start to spring to plant in earnest in northwest Indiana. However, these will spout quickly (I can ck them and keep the seeds moist until they germinate), and will then harvest while planting more seeds for a continued harvest of spinach leaves. I like that these will be resistant to bolting and the weather here can turn on a dime. I haven't had enough time with the seeds before I need to review, but I have every confidence these will be abundant and tasty!

Quick Germination
I planted these seeds in mid-March and in less than two weeks the plants are already a few inches tall. Since greens do best in cooler temps, I plan to get the seedlings outside by the end of April and hope to have healthy spinach soon thereafter. So far, I'm very pleased that just about every seed I planted seems to have come up. Particularly since many of the other seeds I planted haven't produced any results. Although I've never heard of Bloomsdale, so far my experience with their seeds has been positive and I think they're a reputable company selling good quality seeds.
