well made and strong
Easy to install onto the windshield. Once I figured out how to open the clasps in the front it was VERY easy to slip my phone into it. It holds my phone very snuggly and securely. The two holders on the bottom can swing out if you need to access part of it to plug in an aux cord or anything and it will still easily hold with just one on the bottom. The sides have a thin layer of foam material to let you pull it close in without having any gap. It can adjust to MANY sizes. I have a Samsung galaxy s7 and it fits perfect. It can fit larger or small than that. The arm that connects the clasp to the window attachment is very strong. It takes some decent effort to move it so once you put it in place it will hold your phone there. Even when I'm driving on bumpier roads, the phone will move a little up and down but it won't fall off the window or change it's position. Very well made.

Pretty good product
I bought this last summer, and I'm surprised with how long it lasted because I've bought similar products in the past before with them lasting for only a couple months before falling apart. This one however held up really well, and it wasn't until recently that the sticky part finally stopped sticking to my window; but, that is my own fault. It fell off one day while I was driving, and I put it off to the side for too long, and I believe it dried out from debris and such sticking to it. That's my best guess at least. I probably won't buy this one again though only because I bought a new phone recently, and the aux plug in on my phone is located right where the holder is at... Sooo that makes it a little difficult to plug in the aux cord and bump my beats ya know?

So good I'm buying another one!
UPDATEAfter owning my first holder 20 months ago, it finally failed. It failed because I left it mounted in my vehicle even when not in use. The piece that attaches the suction cup to the rest of the unit failed. I tried glueing it together but it didn't last. The hot and cold temps surely caused the failure. We have been very satisfied with the 2 units we own. I just wish I could get a piece to replace the suction cup piece. There is nothing wrong with the rest of the holder. We have had this phone mount for several weeks now. We couldn't be happier. The suction cup is very secure. The adjustable arm is very strong and firm. The adjustable holder is easy to operate and opens wide for larger format phones. I have a Note5 with an Otterbox case and it has more room beyond that.

Can't stand the Florida Heat
You know, after the first week, it was great. 5/5 stars. But, after a while, for me, it started being shaky. The foam material would start peeling off. and, no biggie, i thought, at least it works, but as time went on, either the spring, or whatever held the suction in place started becoming loose, and no wonder works. It literally won't stick to the windshield anymore. Now, I will say I do live in Florida, but come on. I will contact amazon support and see if they can help me. Now, I did buy this product in July, and it stopped working about 2 weeks in.EDIT: I changed the rating from 1 star to 3, because I did contact Amazon, I informed them I wouldn't be mad or anything since it is over the 1 month window, but They said I could either return it for my money back or just give me the $9.99 credit for Amazon, which I did. They really do have the best customer service.

NOT DURABLE
I bought this Feb 2nd 2018 of this year as a phone holder in a van I drive very seldom. It is now May 4th 2018, and the product fell off the windshield today. The little plastic piece that attached between the suction and main part broke. I know roads have gotten worse, and there are more bumps then there used to be, but, I certainly think it should have held up way better than what it did. I certainly would not recommend this item to anyone. I guess I will need to buy another one from a different vendor. Now it just cost me double

Does the job but not sturdy
7/12 update: I had given 4 stars to this product few months ago. The summer heat is actually causing the suction cup support system to cave in and the entire assembly behind the suction cup falls apart. I had mentioned it in my previous review as well that it's not sturdy and it just proved my point.I liked very much at first, so I bought another one for my wife's car but in couple of days mine was screwed up because I applied little force to pull my phone out and the right clamp came out of its gear. Since then mine doesn't work very well even after forcing the right clamp back in and it comes out frequently.Tip: slide the phone up completely before moving the phone towards you. I pulled the phone towards me when the phone was within the clamps and it displaced plastic housing enough for right clamp to shift out of its original position.Second: don't buy this if your car vibrates too much, my car vibrates in lower gear and the holder does bit of shaking as well. No issues observed in my wife's car with this holder.

Perfect for UBER and anything else
I drive for UBER and have been through several iterations of mobile device holders. They all had issues. This one is the best I've used. Very easy to assemble and install. I like it mounted next to my rear-view mirror, so as not to obstruct my vision. The cable would normally hang down and be an annoyance, but I bought a CableDeconn Left 90 Degree Angled Micro USB B Male to USB A Male Data Charge Cable which has a 90 bend that allows me to feed the cable up, across to cab roof to my sun-roof sliding door where I have tucked away a Intocircuit 15000mAh 4.8A Dual USB Portable Power Bank with SmartID Technology, Gray, which has enough juice in it to keep the device up, easily, for a full shift. The flex arm is very stiff, which I like. No vibration. My vehicle is a Honda Pilot and my device is a Samsung Galaxy S4.
