I carry a couple in case of pex leaks.
A must have for RV emergencies. Works well with pex but needs a cinch clamp for flexible tubing. Hose clamps tend to leak when using the fitting with flexible hose. Thes have a solid leak free connection with pex in the RV.

Perfect to fix leaks in a travel trailer
I bought these to replace factory installed connectors in my travel trailer. RV manufacturers use flex tube with PEX fittings and PEX crimp connectors that are notorious for leaking, these can be used to fix those leaks. However you have to have a special adapter to fit the flex tube. These worked, along with the adapter, to fix the leaks so I highly recommend. These easily transition from the flex tube to the blue and red PEX tube. You will also need the special wrench for these fittings which is also available from Amazon. The special adapters are not available on Amazon, but you can buy them from RecPro.

Flair-It fittings have been in use in the RV industry since 1991
Flair-it fittings have been in use in the RV industry since 1991; they are lightweight, simple to install without specialized tools and they don't leak. I personally trust these Flair-it connections more than I trust push-in compression fittings (Shark-bite, Sea Tech, Blue Hawk, etc) in my (PEX-plumbed) RV. This review applies to ALL the Flair-it fittings - since you'll have to use several configurations for any particular plumbing run. I have plumbed/repaired several (1/2" PEX) projects in my 5'er over the years (to include tankless HW heater) - RV's are subject to more physical stresses (rocking, bouncing, thermal variations, etc) than the average domestic house; the Flair-it fittings have proven themselves to withstand these stresses without leaking, whereas I have had a few push-connectors come undone. Not knockin' Sharkbite fittings - a brilliant design and I have used a few around the house - just prefer the more rugged connection method of the Flair-it for something bouncing around like an RV. If you're a newbie you can download the Flair-it catalog (.pdf) elsewhere on the net and it's a great quick tutorial on PEX plumbing and the use of these fittings. Hope that helps - and no, I do not work for Flair-it.

Worked fine, no leaks so far
These seem to work okay. All of these PEX fittings are too costly in my opinion.

An excellent product for do-it-yourself repairs!
An excellent do it yourself repair!. The local RV parts and repair use these type of fittings for PEX tubing. They highly recommended them, but were out of ones I needed. They suggested that I check online. I found what I needed at a better price here on Amazon. You can get into areas that are tight in RVs with this product and repair without all the bulky tools needed for other PEX pipe fittings.

Quality made!
My husband is a “do it yourself” person, he installed these parts for our motor home. Works like a charm!
