Favorite body wash
This has been my favorite body wash since the early 2000's. Some batches are thicker than others but this is quality soap. This is great for people allergic to SLS (sodium laurel sulfates). It does not dry your skin out!

Love this!
It’s clean. It’s takes away any odors. It’s safe for kids. It smells great. It lasts forever. You don’t need to use a whole lot at once. It doesn’t have all the chemicals most body washes do.

Mild scent, daily use, face and body
It all started with food. What I mean is, my education on what kinds of things to avoid buying, and putting in my body, started with food. With age, I have become more concerned with my health, and thanks to social media and the web, I found Bobby Parrish. His help is mostly with food, but also with things like supplements, soap, shampoo, body wash, makeup and etc. You get it.I have been using SebaMed body wash, shampoo and lotion for a few years. I really like the products for several reasons, so I was sad to see that the ratings (EWG skin deep) weren't as good as I would like. After seeing the scores, which really aren't terrible, but could be better, I decided to try some of the products that are considered safer, and this body wash by Alaffia is one of them.Sorry for all the info you weren't looking for. Here's my review. The high praise is real this time! I have definitely made purchases based on great reviews that I regretted buying. This body wash is not one I regret. The scent is mild, it lathers we'll, a little goes a long way, it rinses easily and doesn't dry out my skin. WIN!I will be using it for now on. It feels great knowing that I'm not using a product that containing ingredients that could be harmful to my wellbeing. Cheers

From 7 natural ingredients to 19, including synthetic additives and preservatives.
I have extremely sensitive skin and have relied exclusively on this body wash for over eight years, using it as a body soap, face wash, and hand soap. One of the main reasons I was so loyal to this product was its simple, natural formulation, which never irritated or dried my skin. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed multiple formula changes over the years - each resulting in a noticeable decline in quality. What was once a clean, nourishing product has become drying and dehydrating, prompting me to search for an alternative. The ingredient list has expanded from just seven simple ingredients to nineteen, including synthetic additives and preservatives that were never part of the original formula. It’s disappointing to see such a significant shift, especially when the product imagery hasn’t even been updated to reflect these changes. As a Washington state resident, I’ve always wanted to support this local brand and continue purchasing this soap. However, it appears that product integrity has been compromised in favor of increased profit margins. I would gladly pay a higher price for the original, pure formulation rather than continue purchasing a product that no longer meets its original standards. For reference, here is the original ingredient list:1. Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Berry Aqueous Extract2. Saponified Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil3. Lauryl Glucoside4. Decyl Glucoside5. Sodium Chloride6. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Extract7. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) WaterAnd here is the current formulation:1. Aqua/Water/Eau2. Potassium Cocoate3. Decyl Glucoside4. Lauryl Glucoside5. Sodium Chloride6. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride7. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract8. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water9. Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Fruit Extract10. Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract11. Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract12. Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract13. Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract14. Dipteryx Odorata Seed Extract15. Ethylhexylglycerin16. Sodium Phytate17. Phenoxyethanol18. Potassium Hydroxide19. Citric AcidI was once one of your most loyal advocates and recommended this product to everyone I knew. Sadly, I can no longer endorse it and am now sharing my disappointment with others who valued the same purity and effectiveness. This is a missed opportunity not only for your loyal customers and the communities your company supports but also for your long-term brand reputation. I sincerely hope you reconsider the direction you’re taking with this product line.***** ALAFFIA DELETED THIS IDENTICAL REVIEW FROM THEIR WEBSITE ***** It actually never appeared. I think they just automatically filter out the really negative reviews. Alaffia, you just keep disappointing me. Alaffia is acting like they have sold out to a private equity group focused on profit over quality.
