This is a British Military sleep mat, thermal, strong, comfortable, water resistant.If its good enough for our soldiers, I'm more than happy to use it.It's long enough to cater for those who are plus 6ft. It's pretty lightweight but it's down side is that you need to roll it up, unlike an inflatable mat, so size might be an issue for some.

Does what it meant to do, although I cut mine up to make a backpack liner so it would hold its shape and not flop around, turns backpack into a bucket style and creates a perfect look and practical use.

Good quality does the job

Great Matt, very comfortable and thick comparing to our old matts. We used it to sleep in the tent and now using 2 of them side by side on top of our VW camper. Take much less space then self inflatable mats, but for me they are nearly as good. (obviously self inflatable matts are way more comfortable, but they do take up more space then a tent). So if you are looking for some middle ground - these were perfect for us

Great price, tough and light, I use this sleeping pad in combination with my self-inflating mattress for winter camping in Scotland (inflating one on bottom, this on top); its closed-cell construction is better suited to the cold. In the summer I take only my more packable and smaller self-inflating mattress, but winter, spring and fall this is a must. Obviously it's more bulky, but it won't absorb water, so I just strap it to the outside of my pack. For comparison, I've included in the pic a piece of traditional blue foam (I cut a piece off and use it as a seat around camp), where you can see it's ripped and not holding up nearly as well as this bomb-proof pad.

Used it for Camping Purposes, in the form of a Mat. Success all-round/oblong good length for Yeti.

Bought this for a scouts camping trip for my son. He loved the army concept and found it very comfortable and easy to roll back up. Nice and light too.
