5 Glass Petri Dish 60mm, Tissue Culture Plate, Autoclavable Borosilicate Glass, Pack of 5

Indeed, the seller shipped six dishes (in two packs of three each), well protected so that all six arrived intact in my case.The dishes themselves bear no marking or labeling. There is no reason to believe they are not borosilicate glass. The bottom is exactly 60mm diameter whereas the lid is 68mm.I noticed one cautionary: there is high distortion (of light) through both the base and the lid. Examination with an inspection microscope will show degraded resolution with the lid on.

Wayyyyy to loose not well made will not give good results with so much of the opening.

So these are wrapped in bubble wrap 3 per, and then boxed in a thin box. The bubble wrap is actually pretty good, kept mine from cracking but what i dont like is the looseness of the bottoms and the lids. For my use propagating small seeds, it's ok, it'll work, but for real chemists, these are not what you want. It's so loose at first i thought, what a rip off, but overall, it'll work for me. For 6 dishes, i think it should be more like 6 dollars.

Overall love these dishes they are abit smaller than the 90mm but are perfect for any project. Mine came with 6 in the package 2 were broken due to shipping. I'm am being sent replacements. Despite the broken ones these dishes are pretty solid and good quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Both halves are mismatched almost as if they fitted two completely different base sizes and used one side as a cap. unfortunately the cap touches the base. useless. It is too loose to be considered a petri dish and not suited for sterile environments . :-(
