Beautiful product demolished
First of all the China is beautiful.First of all I couldn’t enjoy it because the packaging was so poor that upon opening the Royal Albert box contents were demolished. The shipping box was fine. The Royal Albert box was unmarked. But the tissue inside was so flimsy and sparse and none of the items were stuffed or wrapped that two of the cups were completely destroyed. The product creators need to fix this problem because anytime these items shipped they should be absolutely secure in their place. It’s an absolute waste.

These R.A. 100 Years Patterns/Pieces are GRAND
Since I first discovered these Royal Albert 100 Years Anniversary Collection replica pieces (1900-2000) about 15 years ago, I’ve collected quite a number of them in various set configurations. As far as I know, they all have been made in Indonesia and thus far, are very nicely done. For all my own reasons/preferences, my personal favorites have turned out to be 1900/Regency Blue, 1910/Duchess, 1940/English Chintz, 1960/Golden Rose, 1980/Rose Blush. I recently came back here to finish out my collection of those patterns while I still can. In some serious downsizing, I ended up giving the rest away, some to charitable auction concerns. I sometimes do that with special things. I like to share.I've got and inherited a lot of beautiful Royal Albert sets/pieces over many years, as did my mother and her aunt. I wish Royal Albert items were all still made in England, but the pieces I've got from Indonesia are better than what I inadvertently tried from China, the latter being heavy, thick and sometimes visibly flawed. I gave those away too.Update:I felt obliged to drop the stars by at least one because of unpredictable hit/miss packaging/shipping. It’s upsetting when beautiful products arrive damaged, and luckily miraculous when they survive unprotected delivery methods. You cannot know which it will be, so cross fingers or pray for a miracle.Sometimes the collectible boxes end up being used as shipping boxes, so labels/dirt/dents/tape ruin the collectability of that box - I don’t even want them for storing pieces in cupboards/closets.It's sad that even when so many customers mention these troubles in reviews or even contact the powers that be, these irregularities keep happening. Why?

Cracks form at first use! Very disappointing!!!!
The cup cracked at first use. After I poured hot tea in the cup, it formed a vertical crack in the cup. It leaks now!!! Very dissenting for a 3 piece teaset at over $50.I’m very disappointed. I bought 5 sets and they cost over $300.

Spoil yourself
I'm on a tea kick! This is the sixth Royal Doulton 100 years mug I have ordered. Each one is beautiful in its own right. The colors are beautifully vivid. The mug is delicate, yet feels solid enough to actually use. It is dishwasher safe.I have a display case in which to keep my mugs to show off their beauty, but I spoil myself by using them when I relax with my evening tea. It's nice when you find something that makes you feel happy and just a little bit special.Fast shipping and packaged securely.

Comfortable, beautiful, handle broke off
Although I have a huge soft pot for all royal albert merchandise (mugs, especially), I'm not sure if the one I got was a defect, but the handle snapped right off after 3 months of use. Which was a huge bummer because it was my favorite one.I wash my 5 other royal albert mugs in the dishwasher all the time and never had any issues.I don't know if it's just the regency blue that has this issue or if I got a defected one but either way, it was painful throwing away $40.

I really disappointed. I think it is second grade products
I bought 2set of this. I really disappointed.I think it is second grade products. Products are rough and bumpy in goldband and have indelible marks(dot).I returned.

Beautiful, but NOT microwave-safe
Such a beautiful mug. I was slightly worried before purchasing it, as these pictures looked quite different than a previous posting of this same product, but it turns out that I didn't need to worry. The cup looks more beautiful than in the pictures and it is my coffee cup of choice. Please DO NOT MICROWAVE this mug, though. This didn't appear anywhere on the instructions, but then, they probably assumed that idiots like me would notice that it had metal on it. Not being able to microwave the mug is the one drawback that I found (and luckily I realized my mistake just a few seconds in and it began sparking). It was my fault, but don't be like me and microwave it.

Royal Albert 100 years Mint Deco tea cup
My mother has been a Royal Albert cup collector for 50 years. I bought this to add to the collection and was disappointed. This is Not the Fine China porcelain or quality we know. This feels heavier, a sturdier similar to a lighter weight ceramic type. Not Fine Bone China for the Money this is Not Worth it !

Fantastic.
Lovely quality. Some say it’s too big, but not for me, after all it’s a mug, and I have seen bigger mugs. Love the design. Not regretted buying these. Go for them.
