Are these batteries okay for just regular flashlights, candles, etc...or are they just for industrial?

These can be used be any application. Energizer markets these towards business customers/accounts, and sells them in larger packages (12-packs) vs. the Max batteries you will find in stores in 2-packs, 4-packs, etc. If you look at the spec charts for these batteries, they are similar/identical to Energizer Max. They are named "industrial" but can be used in any application where any D battery would be used.

Do the industrial batteries hold up/last longer than the regular batteries?

These are alkaline batteries so they will not last as long as lithium batteries.

The box says made in the USA and i highly recommend them for longevity
