Van Holten's Pickles - Jumbo Kosher Garlic Pickle-In-A-Pouch - 12 Pack

I love these pickles!!! They seem to be a little smaller lately but they are delicious for a true pickle lover!!!

I didn’t expect to love this at all. But here I am, already on my second 12‑pack in under two months. I was craving for pickles and got my husband to pick some up from me on his way home from work. He stopped at a gas station and bought 3 different kinds of pickles, not knowing what I’d like. The tapatio pickle was the last I tried because I was afraid that it would taste like salsa based on the picture on the packaging. It doesn’t at all, Nice solid heat. When refrigerated, it’s especially refreshing and crisp. I like my pickles chilled before eating. Out of the 12 pouches, two were a bit softer than ideal, but even those were still satisfying. I would recommend this flavor only for people who can do spicy, because it is really spicy.

Second time I’ve ordered this brand of pickles and there’s one that has totally leaked out.

I ordered one of these about a month ago, and I loved it. I said I probably wouldn’t order again, though. But I was wrong. I ordered a 6 pack. And I still love these. I crave them more than any other pickle!!

These are absolutely horrendous. I love pickles and make gallons of them every year, both vinegar-brined and fermented. I was hoping these might be in the same range as the long-retired Best Maid Xtreme Sour Pickles, which I miss terribly, but they're not even as sour as the regular Best Maid's (which I still love). I also love Warheads. I don't eat much candy anymore, but the Warheads that land in my son's Halloween bag wind up with me. These pickles taste nothing like Warheads, or sour dill, or extreme sour. Instead, they taste intensely of some sort of indistinguishable chemical flavoring agent, probably the worst pickle I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, I got a six-pack of them — I opened the first one and for two days I kept coming back to try it. It was terrible immediately, but I kept trying it and thinking, "There must be something about these that people like." After two days I couldn't finish it. No idea what I'm going to do with the other five. Don't waste your money or taste buds on these.

Es ist einfach sehr chemisch und garnicht lecker. Es schmeckt sehr eklig. Würde ich nicht empfehlen. Musste kotzen und weiß nicht womit mit den restlichen. Meine Eltern konnten es auch nicht aufessen, sie haben es auch nicht gemocht.

I came back from the US recently and missed these. I slice them up and have them with some fries from Five Guys as a treat, they're perfect together! Worth every penny.

Arrived quickly, great taste will be trying the others in the range.

Really good value for money. The hot and spicy flavour is nicer than the dill or garlic flavours, and has a really good amount of spice.
