We ordered two of these. The first one - the buttons stopped working on the second day. The second one - we can punch in any passcode and it opens the Piggy Bank. The kids are very disappointed and it has been a waste.

This was bought as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old. First, it is super fun for him. He was excited to have a "secret code" to have to get into his piggy bank.It was a little bit of a challenge to figure out how to change the code on it and get it working as it doesn't come with instructions (at least ours didnt) outside of two sentences on the box.I will give some tips:The initial starting code is "0000". I figured this out as a lucky guess after it kept telling us it needed a code to get into it immediately.After that, you can open the safe, press the key button and create your own code.We still haven't quite figured out all of the features...he somehow set an alarm to go off daily, and we can't figure out how to reset it. The alarm shuts off quickly, just how it got set in the first place is beyond me.

This is a really cool little toy, but the key pad is defective.. The password changes all by its self, then you have a 5 year old freaking out, cuz they can't get their money out! Not real fun!! Her bday was in may, we just broke it open to get her $20 out and now, we can't return.

Awesome! Just as described, finger print is not real but the code is legit money slides in automatically w/AA batteries

This kid loves to spend very little money, and this safe is just what he needed to keep his money safe. He loves the thumbprint part because it makes it feel more personal.
