HOT TOOLS Pro Artist Tourmaline 2000 Turbo Hair Dryer, White

This far out beats the popular Conair hair dryer hands down.It is more powerful and it lasts years comparing to months for Conner products.I saw my stylist used this brand and inquired why. She said it outlasts all the otherhair dryers she's ever used in her line of work.The down side of this dryer is the rubber loop you use to hang it up by. The loopbreaks within 18 months or more. That's the only negative thing I have to say about this product.

My old commercial hairdryer lasted us way over 20 years, even used in sub-par electrical conditions in a poor rural area of another country. Any hair dryer we replaced it with was going to have to meet some pretty BIG expectations.We love it that the heat & air settings have separate switches on this hair dryer! Our old pro model would periodically automatically switch the fan to high if the unit was getting hot, and this one does not. However, we can manually switch the heat to medium or the fan to high if we feel the air getting a tad too warm, so that isn't a problem.The Tourmaline ionic drying feature is gentle and very effective.The cord is NOT as thick & sturdy as the old pro model, but it isn't flimsy, and it IS flexible enough to be comfortable to use. (Didn't know that was a thing, until we got some hair clippers for my husband and the cord is perma-kinked/folded in a zig-zag that won't relax ever!)We are happy with the design/build & function of this hairdryer, and are happy with it as a replacement for our previous miracle model!

Was indecisive between an inexpensive hair dryer (as before) and this Pro Tool. Our hairdresser/friend recommended this product! And I'm glad she did! Wife loves this hair dryer so much more than the last one,1. A longer cord, 2. Better diffuser 3. Quicker dry time. Plus, different speeds and the color (white). I would say a great purchase! I normally towel dry my hair; however, I have used it a few times and have nothing but great things to say about it. 😎

Very light hairdryer. Gets very hot on the hottest setting. I am a bit concerned about the longevity of this dryer- on the second day of use I had the dryer set to the highest heat setting and it kept going from very hot to cool air. Maybe that was because it was new and still calibrating, but for $50 I would expect this dryer to be fairly decent. I will say that I have not had that problem since and I hope it doesn't happen again or break.

This is a review from Zach's girlfriend in case you're wondering why "Zach" is giving 4 stars to a hair dryer.Pros:- Lightweight, this is ideal for someone who spends a lot of time blowing out their hair, like me-Powerful, It probably has saved me 30 minutes in drying time compared to other blow dryers-In comparison to other blow dryers it is on the quieter end-Comes with 3 extra attachments; concentrater, diffuser, and concentrater with teeth-Nice white colorCons--Poor packaging, when the item arrived the box was damaged and dented, luckily the blow dryer was not damaged-Labels on button are starting to fade off, they are almost completely gone-Head of the blow dryer is a little long, I would prefer it to be shorter for better ease of use when blowing out your hair-Head of blow dryer gets too hot too touch when blowing out your hair on heat mode, sometimes you have to grab the head to get more control when blowing out your hair.Overall, I would give this a 4.5 star if Amazon gave that an option! It's fairly pricey but worth it for a blow dryer.

This hair dryer is a triple threat. It dries well, it is lightweight and it is quieter than other hair dryers I have owned. It has been so hard to find an affordable that meets all of the requirements I have been looking for. I highly recommend this one!

It was a great blow dryer before the scary incident today. This a serious hazard. I was blow drying my hair and next thig I know the wire fell off the base with lots of sparks and smell of burn. I am glad the wire did not fall on me and sparks did not burn me. The company need to seriously fix this dangerous product and do a much better quality control.
