Q: On this date, there are no Medium or Large sizes posted. Are those just temporarily out-of-stock or are they never offered?

I don't know, but i bought x large so i can wear a jacket underneath. Not just for rain GREAT winter coat.

Q: What size would be best for me? Im 6'1" about 200 lbs and have and a 40" chest. Thank you

If you want to layer underneath the coat at times, I suggest a Medium.

Q: Why does this weigh less than the 2042 low rider full-length oilskin duster coat if this is bigger?

Its possible it has no lining. Not positive, but very likely .

Q: Does this coat come treated already or do you need to by the waterproofing treatment seperately?

The coat does come treated. No need to buy extra waterproofing. By the way, it is an excellent garment. I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it last winter and received several positive comments on it.
