Seagate 4 TB 2.5-Inch BarraCuda Internal Hard Drive - Silver

Compatible to replace PS4 original internal HDD. Replaced it yesterday. Just be careful of the case screwing , inside PS4 HDD tray. You have to adjust a tiny bit (hardly 0.5-1mm) so its screwed in the proper holes. Used for a couple of hours and felt it has bettered my system's performance a little. Now, I will have to use it for a while and see. Other than that all brilliant.

Got this 2TB intenal hardisk for my personal laptop and it is really fast with better performance. So do check out this product sure guys👍🏻😊

Drive is perfect, delivery was perfect, no issues at all, drive is but noisy comparing western digital blue which i was using before but that i believe is the default characteristic of seagate drives

I used it to replace my system disk. So far so good. I was having frequent system crashes and disk i/o was 100% almost all the time while I was doing nothing. So far the signs are good but I cannot give a final judgment because I have the barracuda a short time.

Used this to replace original WD HDD on an HP laptop as after almost over 5 years of usage seem to be slowing down. New BarraCuda HDD was clowned with Acronis backup software and in used for last 2 weeks or so. The performance seem to have improved. The original drive had 64 MB Cache whereas this one has 128MB Cache.

The product itself is 5/5. Wasnt a dead product and was able to install it into my laptop with no difficulties. Despite this, I still believe that the product should be more well packaged. The seller was not generous with bubble wrapping this fragile product so order with caution as some customers have already received DOA HDDs.

Crashed after only 2 months. These are Chinese low grade not the originals.

Excellent service and a good price. I needed to replace my failed HDD urgently so contacted the vendor to request expedited shipping and the HDD arrived the following afternoon. This is Seagate barracuda 7 mm 2.5” hard disk. Worth for money and easy to install. I bought it for 2999.the data processing speed is really good and give a new life to my Acer Aspire 4743. A little expensive compare to other models but the speed is really good.just go for it. This is day one review. Let’s see how it’s going to work on coming days. I am disappointed with product package. This product is not shock free. Any medium shock may affect the life of HDD. Amazon have to consider to pack with bubble pack. I had received the product in a polythene cover. Review after two years of using. Excellent product.

So I purchased the Seagate 2TB BarraCuda to upgrade my PS4 storage space and it's doing just that. I was able to install it with ease, no problems whatsoever, but as soon as I booted up my system, I was able to hear a somewhat, drilling or grinding noise coming from the drive, somewhat like a vibrating noise. It's working, I have 1.77 TB space on my system, but it continues to make the same sound. I have looked around the web and have read a lot about these sounds being due to failure or close to failure, much about Seagate being a bad brand, so I am hoping that this is just a sound that will go away. As I said, it's working, and I do want to give it some time before I decide to return it or exchange it. I will change my rating as soon as it has calmed, or if it fails on me ( since I don't have much downloaded either way ). Many reviews say their hardrive is working flawlessly and quietly, mine isn't, but I do want to give it a chance. Switching hardrives and uploading software to the system is easy, but it all depends on the hardrive itself. WD, Hitachi, Samsung and all other brands are not perfect, neither is Seagate, but reviews will always help, so will a little research. You get what you paid for, but do so at your own risk, I did :( It’s been months and it has been working flawlessly. I’m sorry for the one star, but that will change with this update
