The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to invest in a good quality Oculus cable and came across this one on Amazon. This Fiber-Optic cable works well and has a fast 5Gbps data transfer rate. I am also happy that this cable is long and braided for more durability as well.Furthermore, it's powerful enough to charge the headset while playing, so you absolutely never have to worry about it running out in the middle of your gaming session.I've yet to encounter any sort of issues so I am leaving a five star review.

So I have had a few other cables but let’s just start at a few things to know about OTHER cables.1. Anything over 10ft that is not fiber optic won’t get you the 3.0 and will only get you 2.0. This is because you need the fiber optic to carry the signal and the other cables that are cheaper are using copper to carry the signal and the signal through copper won’t go that far.2. You can buy the fiber optic cables for a little cheaper elsewhere. HOWEVER, they do not have copper around the fiber optic. This means you can get the 3.0 signal but not charge your device at the same time. You will have to purchase another cable to charge or use the one that came with the headset.3. This cable by Stouchi has both fiber optic around it so you can play at a distance and charge at the same time. This is why it costs more.4. The other cables that I have tried are like TV cables in feeling (not exactly but similar). Even the party link cable that I bought at half the price of this one felt heavy and was getting twisted up all the time. The Stouchi cable is very light and very bendable.Bottom line, pay the extra money and get a longer, nicer, softer, and lighter cable that gets both the 3.0 signal and charges.

This said it would work with my Oculus VR headset but it gets an error that it’s not high enough quality from my PC. I have changed the stars to 4 stars because of the excellent customer service. Thanks to the team.

This product works great!! Very long and charges fast. Hooks right up. Packaging was protective of all the important parts too!!

First off, the cable's connections to my Oculus Quest 2 work entirely as intended. However seeing as the cable is really only meant to do two things: ease of use, and operation. The design of the cable ends makes life much harder than it needs to be. Either of the cable is a slick, entirely smooth nub for the usb C, and it connects quite tightly into the headset. When I went to remove the cable from my headset, there's absolutely zero friction and traction around the plug. Since it plugs in so tight there's no way to slide your fingers around it either. I ended up struggling to unplug it from my headset for about 3 minutes, which is 2 minutes and 58 seconds longer than anyone should have to struggle to unplug a cable. I used a headphone wire to slide in and under it which allowed me to finally yank it out.Small gripe, but just putting it out there, a different brand might save you some frustration.

I don’t think I have ever had more respect for a company like this one before. I brought this because it seemed to be at the same stature of the official link cable from oculus but with a discounted price. But I think it comes with way more! I had this link cable for a month now and with playing moving around nothing happened at all. However, one day my little brother popped the usb c out of the socket and i was really worried because i wasn’t sure it was going to work anymore when i tried to fix it. Not only did it work just the same but i contacted customer service and signed up for the LIFETIME Warranty that comes with the packaging. You just need to save your amazon code number. They gave me a new one within a week and I’m confident I will never have to worry about a link cable again!I also want to mention that as long as I turned off my oculus properly I never had to charge the headset. I kept the initial charge for a long time with the cable while playing the game. The honesty of this company and it’s services provides more comfort in purchasing from anywhere else.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PAYING FULL PRICE FOR THE OEM OCULUS CABLE !This aftermarket cable seemed to be fine initially but after 11 months of infrequent use, it started causing a "Power surge on USB port” error. The Oculus can draw more power when charging from the charger and not connected to the computer. So, the cable is supposed to include tech that signals the USB port to only provide needed power when it is connected to the PC.I ordered the genuine cable from Oculus and the issue is resolved. Still I only used this cable for maybe 50 total hours.I always unplugged the link cable when not in use. I charged my Oculus with the OEM block and OEM cable. This aftermarket cable was never kinked or rolled over or anything like that. It was carefully hung from the ceiling with no sharp curves to go around and I never stretched it or even took all the slack out of it. So, it just plain failed on its own. These cables are unique and pricey. That not with standing, they should last longer than this one did.

High quality cable!Purchased for Oculus Link to PC for my Quest 2 - nicer than the official cable, and it's immediately available. Long enough to move about the room as well.
