Worth money spent! Tons of ideas to copy or get your imagination going!
If I could only keep a couple items categorized as toys I would get rid of everything and keep this book along with the Magnatiles! I bought this more for me, Mom, to expand my knowledge and ideas of what We can do with our new Magna-tiles and I’m so glad I did! Being home all day with my 2 boys, 4 and 2, my imagination is somewhat limited so looking through this books we can all pick something we would like to replicate and go from there to make it happen. Now we just need more Magnatiles! So so so many awesome pictures showing all the different sets used on garages, down ramps, how to make letters, dinosaurs, animals, boats, beach houses, tape pan to ceiling and let them hang as you build. The possibilities are endless! Even if you don’t have all the Magnatiles to build like picture you can get creative to figure out how to make happen with what you have. We are always flipping through the book!

Very good!
I bought 2 of these for my 2 grandsons, 4 and 5. I like the way the book is divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced. They are both beginners, but with help they can build more sophisticated things. Good for creativity and abstract thinking. Helpful to work with an adult. Quality time with your kids/grandkids!

Needs directions
The book has different levels of building which is good. But as you move up levels there are no instructions or steps making very difficult to build

Easy to follow book
My 3 year old granddaughter can follow and make some things from the book without any help whatsoever. Great for ideas for parents, too. The magnatiles are such a phenomenal hit with my little ones and the book is very helpful.

My Grandson Loves It
The magna tile book seems to inspire my grandson to try even more challenging configurations. Very glad that I purchased it for him.

A lot of money
This book cost a lot of money and really does not provide enough to make that cost worth it. There is no section naming the different types of pieces and which sets they come in - for example we don't have those 1/4 circles to make hearts nor do we know how to buy a few of them. The beginner building section only shows how to build the numbers and letters. It throws in 3-4 shapes, which is hardly enough. Then it challenges kids to build like 6 things and you cannot make two of them without those 1/4 circles. The rest of the book is more of a browsing of the internet to get inspired. I am not going to do any of the science projects because other materials would be a better choice. It does mention you can use the tiles for tangram puzzles (so you can use all those tangram books out there) but the book does not show which magnetic tiles you need to put together tangram sets. lastly, the book does not teach any techniques other than how to build an arch in rainbow colors.Overall, its ok. I guess if I paid less than $10 for it I would have been ok- but at $25+ I expected WAY more and frankly there should have been more. If you sell an expensive toy, you really should put a lot of effort into the book so teachers and parents will see the worth of the investment.
