Just what I needed to hang 2 sets of swings to a 4 by 4 treated lumber. Why drill holes for other brackets when you can just clamp these around a beam? While you can slide this into 4x4, you can also bend a bracket and slide it over the beam. No worries, when you tighten the nut, it will unbend to its original shape and form. No squeaky sounds when swings move, because carabinier rotates around a plastic washer. You don't need to have 2 wrenches to tighten the bracket, because one end of the bolt has a square that fits perfectly in the square opening on the bracket, holding it tight in place. Complete satisfaction with the product.

I was very skeptical ordering these, thought they would be too light duty. I was very pleasantly surprised when they showed up, their alot thicker than they appear. They very good quality, and so incredibly simple to install, installed 3 sets in under 5 minutes. Much easier than trying to drill straight holes thru a 4x6. And you can move them around for different spacing for different types of swings or toys.

Work great so far. 2 baby swings, 2 big boy swings, and one saucer swing. Kids love them!

I made a mistake , I am using two 2x6 but they are not equal to a 4x6 so I had a large gap. I shimmed it so made it worked but keep this in mind, it is not made for 2 pcs 2x6.

Exactly what I needed! I had built a swing frame with a 4”x6” top beam and needed a way to hang the swing itself. I was afraid the use of a couple of traditional lag bolts would eventually break free. I had seen some other hardware options that were designed for kids (less than 150 lbs). That also wasn’t going to work. This solution holds two adults, the swing, chain, and the occasional mid-sized dog like a champ. In total, this is probably just shy of 500 lbs. Thanks for a simple design that just works. :)

Please look no further than using these amazing brackets for your swingset. They were so easy to install. Pain Free Installation. This is how it should be. Nothing squeaks and its beats trying to drill a hole upside down. Well worth the extra price difference from traditional hardware. GREAT JOB!!

The bracket will fail because the design is terrible, your child's safety is at risk! The axis of swinging causes the tab that holds the hibg to work harden and snap. Luckily when this did break, my kid wasn't swinging hard or she would have gotten seriously hurt. The bracket broke after about two weeks. I bought new, sturdy ones and these are going back. If the tabs were rotated 90 degrees, or tabs were welded to prevent the constant flexing, these might be better. As it is, this is convenience of installation at the expense of safety. Pros: easy to install, cheap, kid did not need to go to the emergency room with a broken bone. Cons: everything, your kid's safety

These are a little long for a 4x6 so they do not tighten as much as i would like, but the screw hole fixes that issue. I wanted these so i didnt have to drill into the 4x6 to attach the swing. seams stronger using these.
