Beautiful!
This books is both incredibly well written and informative but sad at the same time. If you are a plant lover you already know how and why these plants are rare but go into this knowing it will inspire people to be more compassionate to the most underrated of living things. They move too slow for our fast paced world.

A beautiful book
I loved this book so much that I sent for a second one for a friend. The illustrations are beautiful and I especially liked the fact that it had a protective sleeve.

There is so much to enjoy - a wonderful book with a serious message!
Who would have thought our Snowdrop and Mistletoe would be amongst the rarest and most endangered plants, and Aloe Vera, London Plane and Common Oak?I have read the book once already and am reading it again as there is so much to enjoy - a great achievement - the author has sucessfully delivered a serious message, in 40 beautifully charming and informative chapters, highlighting rare plants, close to extinction - thank you Ed Ikin. . . . and there are 40 lovely prints to frame.
