Agatha Christies Poirot - Series 1-13: The Definitive Collection [DVD]

Great series, worth getting the DVD collection.The seller was fast in response to my question about tracking (that's an extra star if I could give one). Royal Mail appears not to give a tracking option when shipping internationally, but the product arrived at the earliest estimated date.Reading some people complain about the recording quality: there is nothing wrong with it, but the series themselves go back to 1989 and was made for screens back then. So don't expect ultra HD. You get what they looked like back then and you might have to fiddle with your aspect ratio. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong.Others complain about the piracy warning at the beginning of each disc. Yes, it's there, but unless you pop out the DVD after watching a single episode, it only pops up once per disc. Surely just a minor hassle. Go grab a drink and some snacks if it is.Last thing: it's region UK and Europe, so you might run into trouble if ordering overseas. This is the only thing that might be stipulated more clear on the product page.Short version: excellent service of the seller, no issues with the DVD quality and an excellent buy if you are fan of the series.

The very considerate seller contacted me after I made the order, to make sure I knew these DVDs are from Europe and to ensure my DVD player would be able to play them. Both my computer DVD player, and my seoarate DVD player that connects to my TV can play international DVDs. I really enjoy watching the Detective Poirot episodes and thay are all included in this set - quite a few years of the TV series. A great set!

GREAT entertainment, a great time machine to go back to old cars, antique art. withoutthe blood & guts found in modern movies. No cursing, done with taste that ANYONE can watch.

5 star rating for the company who shipped this out. I received this collection today.Now for ITV review: ALL the episodes are not in order. I compared this to Britbox and not one episode matches Britbox's line up. ITV screwed up!

Loved this series. All discs played without problem on Region free player. Only question was disc series labels did not match menu series #'s. Whatever, I was thrilled and enjoyed all. Highly recommend.

Since it came the UK it requires changing the settings on my DVD player each time I want to watch it. It would have been nice to know it was required before I bought it, because I wouldn't gotten the UK version, I would have looked for a US distributor. The series itself is awesome!

I was told I would receive credit for this dvd purchase as no where in the description does it state that you have to have a regional DVD player to use these discs. Do not know what that means but apparently my player is the wrong kind. If you don’t say so how in the world would a 78 year old lady know.Please make sure I receive a credit as I cannot use these dvd. In the garbage.
