Works well with Alexa, does not use the Leviton app or WiFi
So nice. One of the frustrating things about WiFi products is they are reliant upon your internet connection, the manufacturer's own cloud server, and your virtual home/voice assistant's connections and skill. If any one of those goes down, you are left sitting in the dark if your switching device is inaccessible. The move to Zigbee support takes the Leviton cloud server and connection out of the picture, which is nice, because that has been the least reliable aspect of our smart home systems.I have not yet shut down my router to test and see if my Echo devices can still control the lighting directly through their Zigbee hub, but in theory it should work as long as the voice assistant is able to translate the command. These switches are large, like GFCI receptacles, so it can be tricky to safely fit everything into a crowded box that contains multiple switches, but they have plates for back-wiring, not stab-in, so it is simple to run a loop of tape around the housing and the rear of the housing is clear.>>> If you are installing this as a part of a 3-way (or 4, way, etc...) system, you must also use the DD0SR-DLZ companion for all "remote" locations:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AFU1JTK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1The DG15S-1BW installs at the "Load" end of the system and acts as the master controller, and the companions install at all of the remote/power source locations. A common power, neutral, and red communication wire are needed for all stations, it is much easier to set up a 3, 4, or 5 station system for rooms with multiple entries.

Dang near perfect.
Been using Leviton's DL6HD switches, which are almost zigbee, as if they were zigbee, and wondered why Leviton didn't make 'em zigbee.Well now they have. This switch is awesome. Cheaper and better than the dl6hd, it supports zigbee on_level, transition time, and every other cluster I've tried, and has less flicker than the dl6hd, which surprised me. Jasco's similar offering is good, but thists the bar for zigbee dimmers for me.Home assistant picked this switch up in zha perfectly.Nitpicking, there is room to improve. These complaints are super minor. The DD00R-DLZ is still pretty bad: it's slow to respond, dim-level indicator and pilot light don't behave like the main switch and don't seem configurable. The air-gap lever is too easy to trip on accident. It shipped with a crappy face plate, plastic packaging, and no color change kit: the DL6HD dimmers are a much nicer package with less crap.I used the DL6HD's manual to configure the pilot light, that should be easier to find.Document supported clusters! Some technical documentation would go a long ways.Scene control would be _real nice_.

Not compatible with Philips Hue Zigbee
Manual dimming works fine - but this is not compatible with the Philips Hue Zigbee standard - so you will need an additional zigbee hub. This was not clear from the packaging or description.

Easy to pair
These seen easier to pair than the old GE Zigbee switches. Pairs easily with the Xfinity home app

If you like constantly setting it up, this is for you
Needed a dimmable smart outlet but this thing is crappy. It constantly goes offline (sometimes while you are using it theougjt the app). Won't come back online. Resetting the wireless configuration doesn't help even though the app says the process worked. TP Link's products are so much more reliable but they don't make dimmable plug.
