Relieves Neck Tension โ Surprisingly Effective!
Was honestly skeptical at first, but this neck traction device really works! Iโve been dealing with neck and shoulder tension from long hours at the computer, and after just a few sessions using this, I felt real relief. Itโs easy to use and adjust โ the inflation bulb lets you control the pressure exactly how you like it. The soft material is comfortable against the skin, and it doesnโt feel bulky or awkward to wear. The stretch is amazing. I use it for about 10โ15 minutes a day, and itโs made a noticeable difference. My posture has even improved a bit because of it. Great value for the price and a must-try if youโre looking for at-home neck pain relief.

Works amazingly well
I was skeptical at first that such a simple product could work. But it does! I have been using this for only a week, and pretty much immediately found it to very effective. I have had chronic neck and shoulder tightness and pain for years with no cure. But just by wearing this device for about 10-15 minutes, I could immediately feel that the neck joints loosen up and i was then able to do my neck rolls with ease, which in turn helped alleviate a lot of the pain and tightness. The only one improvement I would suggest is to allow for separate adjustments for the front half of the device vs the back half. In my case, I needed more height in the back to really stretch the spine, while less height in the front. The way it is now, by the time when I get enough height in the back, I front would be jamming into my chin, which is uncomfortable. Also, the bladder does not fit the tube very well. It keeps falling off and I have to keep reattaching it. All in all, it's a very good purchase. I highly recommend it.

I should probably use it daily as recommended. The device is quite convenient as I can ...
Update 2019/03/22: I have been using this device a lot for almost 9 months and it is still working properly, no leak, velcro fine etc. I have been diagnosed with Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (see pic MRI dated 2018/06/01) and my medula is compressed in 2 locations. After a fall in September 2017, I had temblors on my left limbs, with pain and numbness. I use this device much longer than prescribed and somewhat differently: I do not lock the device with the blue valve and just use tighten the bulb. This allows very slow deflate and I just re-inflate once in a while every 10 to 15 minutes, producing some kind of neck massaging effect with stretch and slow release. I keep the device on up to 2 hours and up to twice a day and go about my stuff, including exercise, which allows me to strengthen the neck and upper back muscles. The symptoms are almost gone, and I should be able to avoid the surgery my neurologue recommended. Original review: My traumatologue prescribed me some device that look straight from the imagination of an inquisitor and I opted for this instead, with no regret whatsoever so far. I was aware of the common complains, and so far none have materialized for me: The device DOES NOT strangle me, and my neck is on the heavy side The device DOES NOT leak air (so far) The velcro sticks properly I have 4 damaged cervical disks and had numbness in my left arm for the past 2 years, and it is 90% gone after using the device 30 minutes, 3 times a week for about 1 month. I should probably use it daily as recommended. The device is quite convenient as I can move around and do my stuff from cooking to gardening (and even work on the computer - ok, I know, I probably should not), unlike the $200 contraption prescribed by the traumatologue

Kind of small, with what seems like a thin air-bladder.
I have cervical vertebral damage that I have used ChiroTrac Traction Collar to help me manage pain and neural pinching. After about seven years of use the ChiroTrac got a hole and I decided to replace it with a "less expensive" product. The EverRelief I bought had good reviews but has Not measured up to the ChiroTrac Traction Collar. Right out of the packaging I noticed how Small the collar is, then how flimsy it felt in my hands; I doubt it will last as long as the ChiroTrac did. When I first put the collar on it felt tight around my neck; and when I pumped-up the collar I felt like I was getting choked out. I use the collar with a looser connection but it does Not have nearly the same effect as the ChiroTrac product provided for me. I would not recommend this product to anyone that can afford a Better product; but if this device is all that can be afforded, it does provide Some relief, and if a person has a really small neck I might think the EverRelief product would work better for them than it has for me. However, if price is not an issue, and you have a "normal" size neck, I would recommend buying a ChiroTrac product; I will be buying another myself... Lesson learned; you get what you pay for.

2 stars, but I'd buy it again. Here's why...
Pros: -cheap -convenient compared to real traction -durable air bladder and hose -perhaps a modicum of therapeutic benefit - low risk of overdoing it, as long as you don't choke yourself out -you can walk around with it Cons: -cheap -horrible durability of case material and straps - NOT for even moderately larger folks (I'm 6ft, 220, muscular, and this was more of an asphyxiation device) This could provide some therapeutic benefit for some people in some cases, but it is by no means a medical device. You should already have assumed that based on the price and are hopefully just looking for a stop gap that might do 30 bucks worth of good between now and the time you receive the proper treatment. Traction makes good logical sense to people who aren't doctors--like pulling a bendy straw straight. It's not always the answer, but if you know it's what you need, take the time to learn how to use something like a Saunders unit. Sure it costs nearly 10 times as much, but it is easily 10 times more effective and long-lasting (also more dangerous if you get overzealous). That was one nice thing about this collar. It's so lacking in efficacy that it's really hard to overdo it. You can leave it on for hours and you'll feel symptoms of blood loss to your brain long before you oversteetch your neck. And let's be realistic... Those of us of a certain intellect who buy such a product aren't really losing much if we damage our brains. Having said all that. I would buy it again (as a stop-gap, for peace of mind while waiting for actual, professional treatment). It was nice to be able to walk around the house with some extra support on my off days between doctors appointments. After 1 month of intermittent use, the case is falling apart and one of the Velcro straps has almost completely detached. Just dug my wife's old Saunders unit out of the attic and it's a night and day difference. This collar is a novelty by comparison, but one that is probably worth what you'll pay for it--especially if you're tiny. Sizing options may have taken this 2 star review to 4...

Took a little white to blow it up, but once filled it was so worth it
Once you pump up the neck brace and get it to the perfect fit, it is SO comfortable, and it helps with the neck and shoulder pain I was dealing with.

A great traction device that is mobile and easy to use!
This device is wonderful and really works very well. When the meds don't work this will relieve the pain for a while after it's use. It also makes for a nice neck pillow (better than those you see most people using as it will support your whole head). It can apply a lot of pressure and works better than the devices that they use at physical therapy (similar to devices that I've seen for $300 on Amazon). Those devices may work well if they are properly positioned but you can't walk around with them and this one you can. You can take it everywhere, which is a really nice benefit. If you use this device and really pump it up, I highly recommend using a mouth guard as well. When I really pump it up it may cause a bit of jaw pain. The mouth guard will help with that. I highly recommend this device if you get relief from traction. It is an inexpensive way to get relief in a drug free way.

Detailed Review of 3 Cervical Traction Units
I have a bulging disc diagnosed about 6 years ago and it started bothering me again a couple of months ago (I am assuming it is the same issue because it feels similar). After the pain continued to get worse I decided to purchase 3 neck traction devices (Alex Orthopedic Over the Door Traction Unit with Water Bag, EverRelief Inflatable Cervical Neck Traction Device and Instapark Cervical Neck Traction Device) and see which one would work the best. Combined they were about 1/3 the price of a borrowed one that eliminated my problem when I used it 6 years ago (Saunders SAU201 Saunders Cervical Hometrac Traction Device, I used in addition to Traction in the physical therapy clinic). Only the over the door unit provided sustained relief. Both the EverRelief and Instapark inflatable devices ended up squeezing my neck reducing blood flow to and from by head even after working on adjusting the velcro fasteners. This made them uncomfortable to use and didn't provide enough upward pressure on my head. The Instapark provided the least upward pressure and the velcro fastener and medal D ring pushed on chin and neck uncomfortably. Of the two Inflatable EverRelief was the better of the 2 inflatables but also inadequate for any sustained relief from neck pain. It was better only because it was more comfortable on the chin and provided slightly more upward pressure. I was also unable to return these two units after trying them out. The over the door traction unit works very well for me. I don't have problems with massively increased blood pressure in my head because my neck is being squeezed like the other 2 inflatable options. I fill the bag full and I will actually pull down on the rope intermittently with my hands to add even more stretch to my neck. My neck pain has been reduced at least 90-95% in the past several weeks. My suggestions for improving the over the door unit is to add more weight (if you want more) by buying metal weights from an exercise equipment store. I don't know how much weight the pulley system can handle but I think it must be able to handle at least 45 pounds (my estimate based on the water bag and the amount of extra pull I provide). I will attach a 45 pound weight at some point but I have been fine with this method for now. Also, as I recall when I went to the physical therapist 6 years ago they did traction on me in the office and it would periodically loosen tension to give the discs a chance to move during traction before going back to max traction tension. This is why I think the extra pulling and then not pulling with my hands somewhat mimicshysical therapist 6 years ago they did traction on me in the office and it would periodically loosen tension to give the discs a chance to move during traction before going back to max traction tension. This is why I think the extra pulling and then not pulling with my hands somewhat mimics this. The big disadvantage of the unit is it is cumbersome to setup and take down so I have it setup with a chair in a guest room or on a door in the basement. I listen to podcasts while using it and remove my glasses. This way I can keep it setup for easy quick use. I typically use it for at least 5 minutes at a time but usually 10-15 minutes 1x/day. On the average week there are about 2 days I fail to use it but things have still been getting better. At some point if I can't feel any discomfort I will still plan on using it a couple times a week as a preventative measure. The price for this unit is relatively cheap and it does the job and is comfortable to use and the only disadvantage is some inconvenience in use.

Really works
It provides support and a comfortable extension, its important to say this pillow will not solve all your neck issues but it will provide relief in the process of healing. I'm very satisfied with it and i have been using it once a day, usually at night to relax, I would recommend.
