The listing and information on the container states that these are 9mm safety eyes. Unfortunately, they are definitely smaller. I included photos so that you can see the difference between 9mm and these 8mm ones. They aren't ideal for my needs, but will still get used. Definitely a good price for the quantity. Just wish they were accurately sized and the backing was a more solid plastic like most safety eyes.

I crochet a ton of amigurimi dolls and was thrilled to find these at such a great price. They work perfectly! All were the same size, which I know is an issue for some purchasers, at 9mm and the backs fit nice and snug.

These are the worst safety eyes I’ve ever used! I only purchased them because I needed several of the same size for my projects and I didn’t want to buy another multipack. I literally spent 45 minutes trying to put eyes on one of my projects because these were impossible to actually put on and then when it seemed like they were on, I could easily pop them back off because the plastic is so flimsy. I ended up just using the 8mm ones from my old pack instead. I’d rather use a different size than spend hours trying to get these to work and having a little kid choke on these because they don’t stay on!

I make amigurumi crochet dolls and I did not want to sew on eyes so I bought these safety eyes. Children should not be able to pull these out from the doll. I have not use one yet but I did put one together to see how strong they are, I could not pull it apart, threw it away. These should work fine, I don't see children being able to remove these. I look forward to making many of these dolls and using these safety eyes.

These look like your standard safety eyes.1 awesome note is that while the description reads 150pcs, and answers state this mean 75 eyes and 75 backs, I counted 155 backs and 151 eyes (so I got over 300 pcs and 150 safety eyes or 75 pairs of safety eyes). Which is a pretty great value!I haven't used these yet (I crochet amigurumi) but they seem to be the same quality that your usual eyes are. (I'll update if they are low quality or if the eyes easily pops out from the backs.Overall, as long as the I don't experience any issues, I think i found my new supplier for safety eyes!
