I found the retainer very easy to use - no problems at all. And, contrary to the Amazon listing, it is made in Utah, USA and not China!

It’s not horrible but not my favorite I’ve bought I’ve tried different ones and I will not by this one again since I’ve found one better. One caution after awhile of daily use it will detach from the ear piece that’s why I tried something different.

I don't like or need glasses at distance, and I HATE a bifocal with a zero lens - so I get single diopter glasses in my Rx and use them as reading/computer glasses. But if I don't have them on a lanyard, they'll be lost all over the place... so I started using these Chums units a while back. They last about 2 years under normal use, the rubbery ear end does eventually wear out, but that's ok.I do love the FS Yellow - you can spot them laying there so much easier than my old ones that were camo colored.

I rotate using these between three pair of sunglasses. It is real fast to do and doesn't see like any excessive wear or tear on the ends.
