Magicard MA300YMCKO Color Ribbon - YMCKO - 300 Prints

I purchased 2 packs. first roll broke after aprox 50 cards. I just installed the second roll and it broke after 4 cards.Poor quality

At first I was concerned because the top of the printer acted like it was not closed - but the part number was listed as an option. Kept messing with it and got cards to print, so far so good and with the large roll ribbon I hopefully won’t need any for awhile. My company loves that I updated their very dated badges and really like this unit so far.

Used this in a Bondo Pronto; prints fine but would like to see the ease of install on the device improve. Ribbon itself seems fine.

If you put this in the Magicard Pronto, it will read an error message as a non-genuine roll and won't print. But you can fix this - Before you unwrap the rolls and separate them, take the larger end of the blue roll off, and replace it with the same piece from a genuine roll, like the one you're removing. This will take a moderate amount of force. Then load it in like normal and it should work.After I did this the print quality seems normal and it seems to work okay.

Getting error Wrong Film Type - Code 31:01The built in RFID chip in this film is corrupted. Brand new and unusable. This has happened to me 4 out of the last 5 times I have purchased this film. I don't know if it is happening at the Amazon warehouse or by the manufacture but it is infuriating! We need a solution to this problem.
