Superior overnight lip treatment that is also cruelty-free!
This is my first Emma Hardie product, but it won't be my last. I have a number of luxury lip treatments, many of which are supposed to be 'plumping', but none ever seem to actually do that (which is fine with me). This one comes in an attractive compact with a mirror top. The product itself is super hydrating! It gives my lips a lovely sheen that isn't sticky or heavy. There is a very subtle mint flavor in this formula, thanks to the peppermint oil, and this is probably the supposed "plumping" agent, as well. In any case, I don't notice that kind of effect in this lip treatment, either. However, I wake with soft, hydrated lips, and I love that! This lip stuff is pretty fairly priced at $20. It outperforms many other brands I have that cost much more, even up to three times that price, so I think it's a great value. Last but certainly not least, this, like all Emma Hardie products, is 100% cruelty-free! YAY!! I enthusiastically recommend this wonderful lip mask!I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

Good But Thin Balm In A Chic Mirrored Compact, Cruelty Free & Made In Great Britain
This cruelty free Emma Hardie “Amazing Lip Balm” comes in a chic mirrored compact that looks like a lovely matte champagne gold color to me. The compact closes tightly, but isn’t a struggle to open. My lips get dry so easily that I always wear lip product. I’ve been wearing lipsticks less and balms more the last year, and I’ve had issues with many balms irritating my lips. This EH balm has a subtle mint scent and light cooling sensation from Mentha Arvensis (Peppermint) Leaf Oil, which can be a sensitizer. Fortunately, I’ve been using this balm 10 days and haven’t noticed any irritation. The main ingredients are Olus Oil, Candelilla Wax, Shea Butter and Cocoa Seed Butter. This EH balm is rather thin, but not runny. It’s lightweight with a pleasing soft and buttery feel. It has wax in it, but the balm is sheer and more buttery or oily than waxy (but doesn’t feel greasy). The balm glides on smoothly and stays in place despite being thin. My lips feel soft, moisturized and comfortable, and the balm adds a pretty shine. I see a touch of pink to the balm, but no color shows on my lips. I don’t notice any plumping. I like this balm a lot but the thin consistency makes it a 4-star balm for me, yet the darling compact adds an enjoyment factor that pushes my rating up to 5 stars. Made in Great Britain.

light, moisturizing, minty sheen in a sturdy flip top pot w/mirror. Comes box sleeve
I like everything about this lip balm. Seems nearly all of my lip products are around this price point, I dont rate on price, but I will comment on it. Here it is to say that this product provides a nice experience, better than others of this price point. Good product. Gift worthy. The pot that the balm sits in is sturdy, and has a pleasant feel in hand. The lid pops open to expose a mirror on one side and the balm on the other. The balm provides a nice, sheer, pleasantly moisturizing (not oily, or heavy) feel with a hint of mint. The plump factor? They never really plump do they? but there is a gentle plumpness. what I like about this is that any plumping action is from simply moisturizing the lips and the mint (for agitation) as well as extract from the "kiss me quick" plant is very gentle.Ingredients:Olus Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Tocopherol, Mentha Arvensis (Peppermint) Leaf Oil, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Sorbitan Isostearate, Mica, Portulaca Pilosa Extract, Limonene, Sucrose Cocoate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, CI 77491 (Iron Oxides

Pretty Amazing; Creamy, Long Lasting, Glossy and Slippery
The EH Amazing Lip Balm is a lux lip balm 0.35oz (10g) mirrored compact for ~$20, as of this writing. I have to admit, when it said “amazing lip balm” I was a hint “challenge accepted.” Yeah, this is very creamy, slippery, with a hint of pink and a moderate glossy sheen. Doesn’t have to be used just on the lips either, as it is a balm. The peppermint is mild. I can hardly smell or taste anything. No SPF. Pleasant to use. However, I think you will want to avoid putting this into your pocket or anywhere too warm. Not sure if this would be the kind of balm to get more runny as it warms up, but best to avoid the possibility. Don’t want seepage. As a lip balm junkie, I like it a lot.

Lid broke immediately, thin formula
The very first time I opened the lid I heard a crack and then it wouldn’t close. It took me a minute to figure out that a chunk of plastic had broken off the hinge and was stuck in between the lid. I pulled out the broken piece and was able to close it but the hinge on one side isn’t held on with anything now without that chunk. I love that the compact has a mirror, but I don’t like the formula of the balm. The balm is very thin and once applied, it doesn’t last at all. It doesn’t really have a taste but it smells lightly of peppermint and you can feel a slight cooling of the mint. I used this balm for a day and then stopped. With covid, using a balm you have to stick your finger in seems like a terrible idea so I keep this at home to use there but I just don’t like the formula at all. I don’t find it moisturizing, it just feels kind of oily and like I said, the biggest issue is that even for a balm, it doesn’t last at all. Sorry but this was a dud for me.Please hit the button if this info was helpful.

Lovely and soothing but very liquid consistency
I love most things in this product range and I'm obsessed with lip balms. I have a crazy amount of them and they're one of my desert island items. The good: Lovely case with a mirror and it's small enough to keep in a pocket or bag. Doesn't leave that sticky, tacky residue that so many others do so you can apply it frequently without feeling that you want to rub everything off your lips and start again. The bad: It's *very* liquid so you do have to be careful when you apply it and in the heat it will turn even more liquidly. Due to the consistency you're better off applying with a lip brush. If you try dabbing your finger in it you'll end up using too much.Overall I do really like it and it's one that I now keep by my bed to apply before I go to sleep for deep moisture rather than one I take out and about with me.
