As a Cosmo student, I needed a new head with long hair. She came with thick hair. To the touch, feels human. Shows signs of human hair. So, I kept it. After shampooing and blow drying, I used a flat iron 360 degrees. There is human and synthetic hair here. Human hair straightened while synthetic melted. It still gets the job done. But at least with truthful with your product. NOT 100% HUMAN HAIR. More like 65% human hair.

I think this head is a little creepy. The real human hair leaves me wondering where the hair was sourced. Our head had a couple of strands of gray hair. However, my daughter saw one at my hairdresser and instantly fell in love with it. She has been using it to practice putting makeup on the doll and braiding its hair. The hair is easy to work with and so much nicer than those ratty Barbie heads. You will need to buy the attachment clamp that goes from the head to the table. I purchased one at Sally for $8. The pole slid easily into the neck and allowed it to firmly attach it to a table.

I should HV believed on most of reviews here that the hair is really thin. I own 4 more head mannequins so I can tell the difference of this one from them. It looks okay though for just practice but I don't think it's worth the money buying one.

First off, i want to tell you that i am a hair NUT since this is REAL hair that means it came from someones head, EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT so that means you might get BEAUTIFUL THICK HAIR or (like me) get very thin hair since about 80% of people have thin hair your most likely going to get thin hair. got that? now as if thats not bad enough... MINE (key word) had tons of "fly aways" its caused for spit ends and makes it very hard to braid\bun\pony tale LET ALONE the fancy things that you want to and should get to do on the hair *****OVER ALL****** i would NOT recommend this because your taking a big risk....
