Let’s get this out of the way: these aren’t made by Coway. They’re Durabasics-branded replacements, and I was skeptical at first. But after a few weeks of use in my Airmega 400S, I honestly can’t tell a difference—except in price. The fit is flawless. They slide into the unit with no gaps, no bending, and no resistance, just like the originals. They even feel substantial: the HEPA layer is thick and evenly pleated, and the carbon filter has that dense, almost velvet look you want when it’s actually packed with activated carbon—not just a dusted layer. In terms of performance, I’ve seen no drop-off. My AQI readings haven’t spiked, and the usual markers—cooking odors, spring pollen, and the hair from my three dogs—are all still handled like a champ. The air feels just as fresh and clean as it did with the OEM filters. Durabasics doesn't make a big fuss with packaging—basic plastic wrap, no frills—but the filters arrive sealed and undamaged. Honestly, I’d rather save on marketing and keep the performance. 💡 Tip: If you’re on the fence because these aren’t “official,” I’d say give them a try. I was hesitant too, but I’m now a convert. For the price of one OEM pack, you can get two of these and not sacrifice quality.

I've bought nothing but mfg brand filters from the beginning in fear of knock offs. These are same as mfg filters at 1/3 the price. If you handed these to me straight out of pkg I couldn't tell apart from original. They have the exact same fit & finish as originals. They fit nice & snug. I would & am recommending them without hesitation & will be buying these exclusively from now on. 5 stars all the way. I have 2 Coway 400 S machines that run on high 24/7/365 so these will save a ton of money.

The quality looks great and fits snug. But I had an issue with mine where there purifier would blow on high (pink) way more than usual. It doesn’t seem like this is a common issue based on the reviews and the customer service was prompt about responding and troubleshooting. They concluded it was most likely the sensor from the unit but helped me anyway. Leaving 4 for now but will update after

I was hesitant to buy a filter that wasn’t brand name for our Coway air purifier but this filter fit perfectly. It’s a much better price point and I will definitely reorder these.

Fits perfectly

They work great and last a whole year. I tend to clean them about once a month in an attempt to prolong the life of them.

They fit, However. 1. All the filters I have bought in the past included a thin felt-like top filter for the initial filtration. These do not have that. 2. They are labeled the wrong insertion direction.

Appears to be a suitable alternative to OEM. No concerns so far

The frame is very flimsy, made of very thin paper. One of the filters has a curve in the top. Also, the tab used to remove it from the unit tore on the first attempt. And the icing on the cake, the package was shipped in a simple plastic envelope; obviously, it arrived at its destination with a damaged corner. Next time, I will stick with the originals directly from Coway.

They work great. No issues. Price is Right.
