Power Supply for Nintendo 64

Must say, It is what it is. Works perfectly fine and I'm able to now play my N64 once again. I had a little trouble at first putting it in but it was most likely my fault.

Works, but doesn't seat properly, loose fitting.

What can I say, Its a nintendo power pack. If you found your old n64 in the closet but you dont have a power supply, then spend a few bucks and start playing mario 64 again. You know you want to.

First thing I noticed was that pin 5 on the plug didn't have metal pin on it, just straight plastic. I didn't care too much cause pin 5 is just an extra ground so I continue with trying to use this piece of trash. The plug itself was a little too high so it didn't align with the N64. After I opened it up I found that the pins on the supply were hold by hot glue and the board itself had the worst solder job I have ever seen. After removing some plastic I was able to reposition the plug on the supply and it worked, the N64 powered up normal. Half star because the shipping was fast and the other half star because it worked after some modifications. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I feel like I got a little lucky with it, there was no quality on this product.

This product did not solve my problem at all. I pulled out my old N64 knowing it had a problem and I was going to try and fix it. It would constantly reset itself, but it wasn't like i was hitting the reset button, it would lose power and gain power back. It probably did it about every 10 seconds of being on. So I read online and found out that It might of been my power supply. Thankfully I have a girlfriend who owns an N64 that works perfectly fine and I could borrow her power supply to find out if it would work or not. And sure enough it did, I played Donkey Kong for probably about an hour or so. So I went online and found this product and read a lot of review and it seemed like it was a decent replacement. I purchased it and I received it very quickly. I plugged it up and it worked just fine... For about 3 minutes. This power supply had the same issue as my other one, it only lasted about 2 minutes and 50 seconds longer. From my experience with it I wouldn't recommend it. Now maybe I just received a bad one and the others are just fine. But I know they all don't fit as good as the original one. When I plugged it in I felt very unnatural to the system and it felt like if I tried to just force it in instead of just wiggle it around a bit, it would be sure to break. I just started using an emulator called "Project 64." It runs great and I'm sure even the lowest grade of laptops and or desktops could run it. You can even buy N64 controllers that have a USB Port so you can plug it straight into your computer. I just use an Xbox 360 controller but I very well might just look into buying one of those.

Power Supply for Nintendo 64. It's a great 3rd party power supply system for the nintendo 64. You can not tell the difference from the original power supply adapter. I highly recommend it for any customer looking for a great substitute with the same great performance.

Works and is cheaper than local stores

The cord is short and it gets hot, but gets the job done. Yes it is built cheaply but I haven’t had any issues
