Minnesota memories
I had to give up eating all grains because of the inflammation they cause in my system. Wild rice is a grass seed, so I can eat and be sure I can be satisfied. This is a superb side or main dish. I love wild rice with its nutty flavor. I love adding fresh sage and toasted nuts. Almonds or pine nuts will add an extra layer of flavorful depth to any meal. I will be ordering from this company again!

Good stuff, but need to add cooking instructions
I actually buy wild rice for one of my dogs, who has cancer and bladder stones. I make his meals, and he loves the wild rice. The price is good too, unlike so many price gougers out there. I stay away from them. It would be nice though, if the manufacturer had added cooking instructions on the package. I've bought other brands of wild rice, so I had a pretty good idea of how to cook it. But still, instructions should be required on any food packaging. If it had the cooking instructions on it, I would give it 5 stars.

It makes a lot.
I haven’t bought rice from this seller yet. I usually buy from a seller from Minnesota. We love wild rice. 1 cup makes 3 cups so it goes along way. I’ll give it 5 stars for now. I may edit this later if it’s not up to par.

GREAT LOW CARB RICE
I tried this rice for the first time today. I cooked it the microwave using a 1 Cup Rice to 3 Cups Water (1:3) ratio on high and uncovered for 27 minutes. I added 1/2 a stick of butter to the rice & water before cooking. The rice is delicious! I've since used it in my chicken curry and my picky wife loves it too. I am somewhat skeptical about the net 0 carbs of this product. But it is good stuff.

great wild rice
great wild rice! We usually mix it with the regular long-grain rice. Note: wild rice can be a bit chewy so we add a bit more water to the rice cooker than normal, just a tad more than what you would normally use for long grain brown rice and it comes out perfect. This is good rice, have purchased it a few times and getting to buy it again (almost out).

Good, but not as good as long grain wild rice.
I bought this rice because the Canadian long grain wild rice I'd purchased in the past wasn't available. Please note: This is NOT LONG GRAIN WILD RICE. It doesn't have the full flavor nor texture of the other--which I prefer. That said, it's good and better for you than instant white or brown rice.UPDATE: They've changed this product. The Gerb's rice I bought was not a product of Canada. It didn't say sohere, on the decription, nor on the package. The Gerbs rice I bought is not LONG GRAIN, nor was it as flavorfulas the Canadian Long Grain I'd purchased previously. I suspect it isnt truly wild rice, which isn't really a "rice".What I got from Gerb's I suspect was just black rice. Be careful. The description has changed. Double check yourdescriptions and packages when received. I ended up going off Amazon and ordering some Canadian Long GrainWild Rice since buying the Gerbs because none was available here just a couple days ago. Putting my review underthis different Canadian wild rice, which is what I really wanted, raises questions / red flags.
