1000' Ft CAT6 23 AWG Shielded STP Ethernet Network Cable Grey Bulk Solid Twisted Pair (CAT6 1000ft, Grey)

This cable worked for my purposed (non network related). I needed some bulk 9 wire cable, and shielded cat5 was my best option.

It's cable. It's 1000'. Does what it should.

Recieved a 1000' box that has obviously been used. Box damaged and taped back together. End of the wire cut roughly and shoved into a rj45. Who knows how much is missing. Not worth the time to measure it, but it looks like at least a couple hundred feet has been used. Buyer beware.

I used this to install PoE AP's in a hotel and this cable was exactly what I needed. You need STP to protect against electrical noise when running along electrical wires and other communication cables. This was very easy to wire and I used UbiGears pull through RJ45 connectors for easy crimps. Would give 5 stars if the cable was a little more stiffer. This is great quality for the price and gets the job done.

I searched for this cable for a few days on various computer sites but then figured I would try Amazon low and behold here was exactly what I wanted and shielded too and for less money than anything else I had found! Arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed! The only draw back is I have about 400 feet left over from my project because it comes in 1000 ft increments....oh well guess I will just have to suffer through the extra length...hahha;)

This is Shielded and Cheap. Beyond that it is mediocre.The pairs are loosely twisted when compared to most of its competition, like Sewell for example. The Lack of Safety listings as others have stated was also lacking on my sample. That said it accomplishes what I needed it to on a very tight budget when it was purchased.

Perfect for HDBaseT where other interfering signals can cause the HDMI interface to try to re-sync periodically. Use shielded connectors connected to the drain also.
