Multifunctional Money House
Ordered on Monday July 11th and arrived on Today, Wednesday, July 13th, I enjoy multi-functional items and saw this. I thought this would be neat to have. The money holding clip/slip is a bit tight. I worry that inserting and or pulling my money from the clip/slip will tear it. I wasn't too sure what to use the holes for but I just attached a key ring to attach to my chain. I haven't used the can opener/bottle cap opener yet but, I am excited to pull this out and get popping! I don't think I'll be using the flathead screw driver part for anything other than box cutting. Thats just me and it works.I recommend this for men/women who are into survivalist/novelty items. My 10 year old loves this thing too. He says it makes him feel like a soldier!Disclaimer: I recieved this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I hope this along with my photos are helpful for someone. Happy shopping.

Too Tight then Broke... :(
When I first saw this.. I thought it would be amazing... A money clip as a multi functioning tool?! Wow! So I had to buy it.. When I received mine, it looked great, yet when I tryed to put money in the "Money Clip" the clip clamped on too tight that I ended up ripping a few dollars trying to insert it in.. Dissappointing.. Then I tryed inserting my Driver's license and 2 Credit cards to see if somethings more durable than money (paper) would fit. It went it which is nice, yet when I pulled my cards out.. I can see a very visible indent on my cards from how hard the clip clamped down on them.. Basically minor damage to my ID and Credit cards.. Again Dissapointing. Finally, with hopes that I can still some how find a way to use it as it is intended to be used.. I shoved a small screwdriver in it to try to stretch and loosen the clip so it wouldn't clamp on too hard.. i left it alone waiting to check on it after to test it again another time.. Probably only 10mins later I heard a loud *ping* sound only to come across the "money clip" that has shattered in to Two pieces.. I was honestly sad to see this happen cause I had real high hopes for this clip.. But overall, it has FAILED me... I'll post a pic as proof... This is just my personal experience and if any of you decide to buy it.. It might work for you, or it might not.. As for me, it didn't.. And I'm actually very sad about it..

It's a tough clip
The ad was a bit misleading the way it is written. I thought I was getting more than one of the clips.pros: it is made of some thick metal with a heavy tension on it. it is heavy enough to stay in your pocket and you can feel if its missing. it will hold just one bill.cons: a bit hard to stick more than 10 bills in. the bottle opener is a bit obstructed by the back of the clip. The screwdriver part is blunt and a bit rounded will not work as a screwdriver. I don't know what the two holes are for but I could not find a use for them.

A good product. I'm not a fan of carrying single use anything so when I can find a product with additional uses I'm all over it.The initial compression of this clip was impressive! It was cutting bills with the sharp 45 degree with slight bevel on the interior of the clip. If that makes sense for others reading this. Fixed it by flexing the clip open with a narrow axe blade a little at a time to decrease its strength and ran some 1000 grit over the edges to dull them. Still a great heavy duty product.

Survival tool? I think not.
The 3oaks money cip/survival tool is very well made, heavy gauge metal. As a money clip...Well, it's a money clip. It does hold tightly to your cash. If you're carelessly stuffing folded bills into it, it is likely that you'll tear some cash. It is very nice looking and well made. A survival tool? I think not. At best, I'd call this item a minimalist multi tool. The only thing this beast will help you survive, is opening a paint can when a screwdriver isn't handy.

Keep on Looking at Alternative Clips
In some ways this is a clever device, but it is way too stiff to use easily. It is real easy to tear bills with this as they are inserted in this clip. This clip took a lot of fiddling to get the tension to a usable point to where it would not tear up a few dollar bills, and even then it is still a pain to use. I would not recommend to any of my friends.
