Not so effective , the hole are too large. Don’t recommend for tea.

Not for all teas!
These will be fine for bulky leaf teas, but if your loose leaf tea is grainy or uses tiny leaves, they go right through. I like the concept, but they won't work for all teas.

Convenient and useful
Brought these for some loose tea I purchased and I really like it a lot. I use it to roughly measure out a table spoon of tea then use it as a stirrer while I let it steep. Had it for about a month. So far so good!
