Works great and fast!
I was given an Oster pet dremmel with no bit for free so I purchased this diamond bit to go with it. I am not disappointed at all. It works great. Now, it could be because of the dremmel itself, my other pet grinders which are pictured are slow and are getting noisier (both purchased on Amazon). My dogs struggle a lot so I need one that goes fast. I was going to buy the dremmel brand until I got this one. Unfortunately it is pretty loud, but it goes fast and seems to do a really good job. It took half the time of the old ones for sure. I’m very impressed so far, very noticeable difference in how fast it grinds down the nail compared to my old ones. The shape of the body of the tip and the top of it really help to keep the nail steady as you grind and shape it correctly. I rarely write reviews either but this warranted a review.

Works well!
TLDR: would recommend!I’m a professional dog groomer. For years I’ve wanted to get a “diamond” tip for my Dremel to use on dog nails, but the sand paper ones do a great job and because of the extra cost, I put it off. These were a great price, so I decided to try!Pros:Quality, these bits will definitely last longer than the sand paper ones, saving me time (switching the paper covers) and money in the long run!Great for both big and tiny dog nails. I was initially worried about the groves and if a large dog nail would fit into the space to be rounded and smoothed. It does! Took awhile to get used to, I’m used to a cylindrical, “flat” shape of the normal dremel bit. Also, the little lip, at the top of the bit, is awesome for the tiny dog nails. Trying to maneuver around itty bitty nails isn’t easy, but that little lip makes it so much easier!Cons (maybe?)Grit: the sand paper bit is a bit more coarse and files more quickly. I feel like it take just a bit longer to smooth nails (I trim with trimmers first) with the diamond bit. Mostly on big dogs. Takes a little bit to get used to the difference, could be I’m just “set in my ways”.Overall, I would recommend and buy again!

Pretty good.
I've only used this once but it worked wonderful. Easy to use but be careful when you first use it, it does grab / catch and jerk the toenail sometimes & scares my dog. Noise isn't too bad. Wonderful product for the price. Takes a lot off in a little amount of time.

Very good grinder bits
I bought these about a month ago so I can’t speak about longevity. I have had several grinder versions. First was from Walmart I really hated the design because it just had a sanding drum and after a few grinding the drum would become loose and the guard annoyed me. Next I got the Dremel brand rechargeable grinder. This was great because I hate purchasing batteries the only problem is I don’t like the sanding disks as they pretty much have to be specially ordered and the price changes every time I needed to purchase.Brings me to this grinding bit. I purchased this specifically because I didn’t want to buy yet another grinder. I just wanted a bit that would fit the dremel. The bits so far have worked really well at grinding the puppies nails. They were not thrilled with the bit initially but since it goes faster then the others they don’t get as overly dramatic and don’t act like they are in pain. Unlike the flat grinding disks that could create a very sharp nail. These bits leave the nails slightly rounded so that they don’t hurt you. Very happy with them and would buy again when needed.

Long lasting. Over 6 months of constant use on over 100 dogs
This is a very long lasting grinding head. I have used it almost daily for 6 months on anywhere between1-6 dogs a day it has held up very well to constant use. It never gets warm and keeps a good edge. I am noticing some wear on the edges but with this much use it isn’t surprising.

A must have.
If your a professional grommer or a pet parent that's comfortable enough to grind doggos nail then this is a must have. Works amazing and last over a year before having to replace, longer if it's j7st for your at home use.

Great grinding, longevity not there
I have a dachshund that we trim his nails with this. I use a small Dremel and it fits that fine. It does a very quick job of grinding the nails down, which is good because our doxie does NOT like to get his nails trimmed.Unfortunately the sharpness of these grinding wheels does not last past a couple trimmings and the it takes longer to grind down his nails, which is not ideal.

Makes a stressful activity easier.
He kicks and screams when we do his nails, this tool saves a lot of time and aggro, used some standard dremel bits before this but it was not as easy to round the nails off nicely.

Finally, one of these diamond rotary attachments actually fits my dremel. I use the dremel 2001 with this attachment and it worked. It is definitely quieter and doesn't make my puppies as nervous as they can sometimes get.
