Vanity Fair Women's Illumination Front Closure Bra, 3-Way Convertible Straps, Lightly Lined Cups up to DD

I am so thrilled that I found this bra. It is perfect in every way. The front closure is great and the fit is very comfortable. I bought it in my normal size. I will buy it in every color! I am so glad I tried it!

I LOVE this brand and style so much, I now have four of these bras in different colors. Here's why: 1) FRONT CLOSURE: I prefer front closure for ease of use. No reaching behind my back to clasp, or hook a back fastener in front and having to rotate the bra from front to back. Sure, maybe a front closure takes away a bit from those romantic movie-like moments, but he'll get used to it. 2) COMFORTABLE UPLIFT: Perhaps comfort and uplift should be two separate categories, but it's so hard to find both in the same bra. And one without the other is a downer. I'm a B cup, so it's not like I have a lot to begin with, and with age, gravity is bringing some droop. I need all the lift I can get. I look for underwires and a little padding for an effect that creates something that can be recognized as cleavage. This bra does it all and does it with comfort and ease--the underwire doesn't cut into me. I can wear this baby all day, and feel as good as when I put it on. 3) STRAPS: I want straps that are substantial but not so substantial they look like they were taken off a piece of luggage. These are the perfect size for me. They're made of a lovely satin-y fabric, they don't cut into my shoulders, and they look and feel nice. More comfort. 4) DURABLE: I've done the unthinkable--thrown this into the washing machine and (gasp!) the dryer. I try not to do this often (I always machine wash but try to mostly line dry), but sometimes time is of the essence. This bra has held its shape like a champ. 5) LOOKS GREAT UNDER CLOTHES: This is smooth and looks great with or without clothes. It doesn't have parts that poke through clothing fabric in unseemly ways or otherwise call attention to itself. It just makes your boobs look great in whatever you're wearing. 6) PRIME SHIPPING & FREE RETURNS: Get it fast. If it doesn't fit, no harm, no foul--return it easily and for free. CONS: 1) This is a reasonably-priced bra, but if I could get it for even less, that would make me happy. It's really hard to find anything to complain about with this. That's too bad--I love to complain....

I love any bra that has a front closure, and this one fits the bill. It does catch me a little under the arm (reason for 4 stars) but it is comfortable and a great value for the money. The color does not fade with washing, and the size chart was spot on.

During the soft clothes wearing days of pandemic lockdown I became super averse to wearing bras with hooks in the back so I’ve been living in various sports bras and bralettes for 4 years. So comfy, but not always the most flattering or supportive. When I got sick of mono-boob, I went on the hunt for a nice front closure bra that wasn’t overly padded and racerback as most front closures are. These fit the bill. Good quality, good price, very pretty, and I love that the straps are three way convertible—regular, cross back, and halter type. I now have one in black and one in beige. Is it as comfy as a sports bra? Not quite, but sometimes I want to look like a grown up so I’ll put on a real bra.

These are very comfortable. Size fits perfectly. Just the right amount of padding. But the clasp comes undone with every stretch or wrong move I make 🫤

I love this bra!!!! I have always preferred to wear a front closure bra because they fit better & are easier to put on. I have always hated to wear a bra because they just felt like torture devices! I have small breasts and just hated having to wear a bra to conform to social standards. Americans seem to be so uptight about breasts & heaven forbid that a nipple should be seen under your clothing! I know women with large breasts are more comfortable with a supportive bra, but for skinny me they are just torture. This is the only bra that I have worn that the straps do not dig into your shoulders. I previously was unable to tolerate a strap on my left shoulder due to pain from numerous shoulder surgeries. I could not tolerate a strapless bra, so I would have to tuck my left strap into the bra cup & of course that did not work very well. The straps on this bra do not cause any pain at all. The fabric around the back is so much more comfortable than elastic. The underwire also does not bother me at all. The bra just seems to sit well on your body & does not hang from the shoulders or pinch tightly around the midriff to stay up. I cannot find them in the stores any longer. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I have ordered six to set aside as extras in addition to the four I already have. I will probably order more when the price drops again. I never want to be without this bra! This is the only bra that I have worn that I can barely tell when it is on me. The only slight issue is that the closure can be a little tricky. The secret is to lean over while you snap it in place. I was afraid that the plastic closure would break, but I have been wearing mine for about 3 years & no problem.

This bra is AWESOME. This is the first bra I have ever bought on the internet, and I got lucky. It fits great. I am 194 lb, 5'4", and wear a size 40D. For some reason I have more luck with front-close bras than back-close bras. In any case, this one fit perfectly around my chest; just tight enough to give me a little cleavage. (It helps to lean forward and adjust the girls inward and upward after you put the bra on, just like with any bra.) I am very long from waist to shoulder, so straps are often just barely long enough. This one has plenty of strap length left when I wear it regular-style, so that when I go to cross the straps in the back, I have enough extra strap length for them to reach. That is a big plus for me. I have bought bras in the past that just barely had enough straps to wear the bra regular-style, so there was no way I'd ever get them to reach for racerback style. The cups are nicely rounded, not pointy. I've often had problems filling up a cup in the past if the cup was shaped too deep. The cups on this bra fit me perfectly. The foam in the cups is just thick enough to avoid the dreaded headlight effect, but it is not rigid, it's soft. The wires fit well, too. My breasts are "set" rather widely, and bra wires are often set too closely together, causing me to have to tug first to one side and then the other, trying to keep everything contained. The cups are smooth and the satin trim does not scratch or interfere with any blouse I may wear. I love having a low-cut, plunge style bra, after years of wearing boring bras that cover me all the way up to my chest. This one allows me to wear a low-cut blouse, and on top of everything, it is pretty! I will be ordering more of this style.

I bought the Vanity Fair front closure bras probably 5-6 yrs ago here on Amazon. They were well made, fit perfectly and had a sturdy plastic front closure with little rhinestones as an added touch. I got 3. Well time pasted and they had served me well. I ordered from Amazon ‘buy again’ option…they looked the same, just no rhinestones on closure. So, I bought 3. When they arrived, the fabric and light padding seemed ‘cheap’ looking. Material looked thinner, pad was thinner and cheap looking front closure. I thought here we go, ‘same’ item….but not really. Cheaper, light weight, just not the SAME. I kept them anyway thinking ‘shrink-flacion’. I think I got them around the end of Nov. 2023. Fast forward to maybe late Jan, 2024 (so 2 months or so) I was out with friends for lunch and felt a weird ‘pop’…damn -one of the straps broke. Luckily, my camisole helped ‘hold’ thing till I could get to my car and go home. Upon examining-the strap pulled right out of the front connection area. I’m 74 & NEVER have had a bra strap break. These are cheap junk imitations or their original ones. Side note- I didnt realize the bras were Vanity Fair till I came back to see when I bought them ….around same time back in Nov. 2023, I replaced my panties too. I bought at WalMart prior so went back to get ‘same’ after these few years….guess what? They are Vanity Fair also. Well, I ALWAYS wore a size Large. I have actually lost about 20 # over the last 3-4 yrs and still Large size felt right and not binding . Well the new larges barely pulled up on me. (You can’t return panties). So I buy a 3 pack again..this time size XL…same thing..too small…go again, buy xxl they fit like my old Large version. They also had a new updated style I tried..same thing. I gave lots of new panties to the Goodwill. When I wrote Vanity Fair…they denied ‘changing’ the fit of their products. I told them they make $$ because we have to buy multiple sizes to find a fit. So back to my BRAS -the original ones lasted 4 years…these 4 months. I won’t ever buy Vanity Fair again. I have almost broke my sewing machine trying to sew thru the strap ends (whatever the heck is in them???). So here I am looking for a new brand of front closure bras.

If only there was availability of more colours I would have brought them, also wish they were sold in Australia. I had recently purchased the brand Intimo way too expensive and doesn’t compare to this bra at all.

Tengo este mismo modelo en otros colores porque me encanta el cierre frontal. Muy cómodo y el tamaño que dice si es el correcto. Muy buena calidad. Llegó también super rápido. Todo muy bien.

This bra is sooooo comfortable to wear. I have thrown out all my other bras and ha e only these in my drawer... love love love these bras..

I usually wear a B34 but have gained some weight recently and went for the B36. It fits so beautifully, is incredibly comfortable and I'm pleased that I can change the straps in the back to an X if I need to. Love that it closes in the front. I immediately ordered another in different colour. Highly recommend.
