Q: The perrys website says that the ruf n tuf suspenders are a rigid webbing and only have elastic in the back. Are these the same or all elastic?

The rigid webbing you are referring to is only on the Construction model. On the Perry website it is the first one listed under the 2” work belts, the next ones listed are the Ruff n Tuff which ate elastic.

dont know the answer to that, but the "heavy duty" ones are too wide and too stiff for my taste. i have a pair that i never use

The clips are not "clips" but rather hook UNDER/Around belt, and no, they don't slip off. My husband wears these all the time, including when working around the farm, and no matter what, they stay secure around the belt. The ones with alligator clips on them that gripped the pants waistband can slip off, which is why we went to these, which are 1000% better. These are the only style we will buy now.
