Connection is 3/8s tube the valve opening however is about an 1/8th
UPDATED BELOW They are inexpensive valves. I purposely went to 3/8ths tubing so I could get a good 1/4 flow. The valve is 3/8ths but the valve when open is no more than 1/8th which defeats the purpose of using a larger tube.I am going to keep them and see if I can drill out the body with a 1/4 drill and still have them maintain water tightness.I have no complaints with seller or delivery speed etc. its the construction internally, which is likely why they are inexpensive. So I am unsure how to rate these, they do not work for me but if flow rate is not an issue and just shutting off or opening up is all that is concerning then they are great value. If flow rate is a big deal, then these may not be for you.UPDATE- I used a 1/4 drill bit with the valve open and drilled out the valve. Reconnected and it works perfectly. So they now work perfectly for me, I have good flow and the valve still works with no leaks.

Solid product at fraction of Big Box stores
Got these so I have a way to shut off water to my water filter system without shutting off the kitchen faucet. Solid product. Well made. Easy to install. No mess, No fuss. And at a fraction of what Big box stores charge.

Reasonably priced works well
Used a heat gun to shape it because it holds the coil shape but otherwise works great in my hydroponic setup

Good value
I only needed 1,,,3/8 line shut off for a dishwasher and at all my local stores they costed more then the 5 pack of these,,the one I used installed easily and works perfectly on the polly line, great value now I have more if ever needed
