Saxon Math Homeschool 7/6: Tests and Worksheets

Great Math Curriculum!

I have used so many different math curriculum over the years and Saxon Math is the best. It teaches a new concept each day then provides plenty of practice for that new concept to be practiced along with continuing to practice past concepts. What I love the most concerns this test and worksheet book. Each test can be a true marker for gaps that your student has. For each problem on the test the lesson that that concept was taught in is listed under the problem. If your child misses that problem consistently over several tests then you know to go back to that lesson because they need to do it again. I absolutely love Saxon Math and how it is organized in such a way that it keeps things running smoothly.

Saxon Math is very well organize, and helps you teach your children, simply, the concepts of Math. This workbook used alongside the student manual helps the students keep up their math skills (multiplying, dividing, substracting, adding, etc.) as the school year goes on. The drill sheets should be timed so the students are working to improve their last score, which is a great incentive for my kids. Excellent!

The books are well organized and because the sequence of tests follow every 5 chapters, it is easier to monitor the success of each student. The worksheets can be used as time games and helps the students to work toward completing the sheet.
