Review: Snug fit but works fantastic! - This drop-in gave new life to our 20 year old fire pit! Glad I found it! The fit was very precise so it was very snug and I had to tap all around it carefully to get it to "drop in" and after about 15 minutes of gentle hammering I got it done. One complaint is that there is a whistling sound where the gas travels through the regulator switch and it's a little high pitched so I need to see if I can cover it with foam to dampen it. Also, the gas holes may not all light up initially but after some time of letting it settle, they all eventually lit up for me.
