This drop-in gave new life to our 20 year old fire pit! Glad I found it! The fit was very precise so it was very snug and I had to tap all around it carefully to get it to "drop in" and after about 15 minutes of gentle hammering I got it done. One complaint is that there is a whistling sound where the gas travels through the regulator switch and it's a little high pitched so I need to see if I can cover it with foam to dampen it. Also, the gas holes may not all light up initially but after some time of letting it settle, they all eventually lit up for me.

I just purchased and installed this fire pit today, so I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet — but so far, I’m very happy with it. It looks absolutely beautiful once installed. I installed it in a ceramic-top table that was part of an outdoor furniture set purchased at Sam’s Club, and the finished result really exceeded my expectations. The installation was fairly straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic gas connections and setup. One thing to note — the included regulator and hose are pretty short. I’d prefer to place the propane tank a bit farther away from the table for better spacing and safety, so I’ll be purchasing a 12-foot hose/regulator to give me more flexibility with placement. I also purchased 30 lbs of fire glass, which turned out to be way too much. I ended up using about 23 lbs. Any more than that and I couldn’t get the lid to sit completely flat. Overall, the fire pit looks great, works well, and really upgraded the look of our outdoor space. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

After not being able to find a fire table that I liked, and not wanting to pay thousands of dollars at an outdoor furniture store I build one. This product is solid and works great!

I think this is the first bad review I’ve ever written on Amazon. I don’t mind if you get a faulty product and they let you return it, or at least contact you back when you leave a message, but this company’s customer service is abysmal, and they forfeited their right to a favorable review. The good: The fire ring looks nice. It’s shiny. The bad: The knob doesn’t fit, and it doesn’t light. The ugly: Customer service. Be aware that this item is non-returnable, and calling the company is fruitless. They don’t answer, and don’t return a call. We’re not even sure that our message was recorded. There’s no way to contact them electronically. I spoke with Amazon customer service, and they refunded me and said it wasn’t a safe item to return. I suppose they’re worried there may be gas lingering in the ring or a line. This was a waste of three hours of installation, and trying to make it light. At least their helpful troubleshooting instructions tell you to make sure the gas is turned on. 🙄.

Just as advertised! Perfect!

Love this product! I designed our fireplace and had it fabricated to the specs of this pan. I ordered 40 pounds of aqua colored fire rock to fill it perfectly. Couldn’t be more happy on how it turned out. Biggest TIP: omit the aerator part they give you if you are attaching to natural gas. I used .125 aluminum to skin out the frame of the fireplace and painted it in a Matthews automotive finish. We left the side/ bottoms open so the fireplace surround itself does not get hot. Took about 5 mins to hook up. The only part I had to buy was a hose (male on one end / female on the other) and then a fitting to make the male end a female to attach to my natural gas line) all found at Lowe’s. My only suggestion to the manufacturers would be make the igniter shorter so it’s flush with the burner. When you mount the Igniter to the bottom of the pan it sticks up way too high to spark a flame for the gas.

Great product but regulator seem to be cheap and not working properly! Spoke to representative and they gave me a credit for this !
