Emoji Universe Series One: Latex Emoji Smiley Face Balloons 72 Pack Yellow

These were great. We used them for an emoji themed party. Made stress relief balls and used for a STEM project. The smell everyone mentioned? I didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary. Balloons have an odor....these seemed typical and not a problem for me.

These were delivered super fast! The quality is great, the amount is great, they are definitely worth the money. We had an emoji party, and filled our trampoline with these! The kids had a GREAT time! The ONLY bad thing is that they smell very chemically...I'm sure it's the latex or whatever they are made of - but it was a really strong odor. But, being plastic / latex / whatever...I'm sure that's to be expected. Great product!

The yellow balloons are awesome! They were a great deal and good balloons.

Very cute but one star lost due to some printing and some quality issues. I wouldn't suggest these came without issues but proportionately it was a good buy. A few of the emoji's looked drunk (misaligned on the printing color) while others didn't blow up without popping. However, as a whole they were great and perfect for the occasion. The faces could be a little more varied but not bad.

These are exactly as pictured. They're very cute. While one of the two packages I ordered was split at the seam upon arrival, all the balloons were fine. I haven't yet encountered any smeared ink, as some other reviewers have. And the ones I've blown up seem to be sturdy enough. They definitely do stink, though. I blew up 10 of them while my daughter was at school. When she got home, the first thing she said was, "What's that awful smell?"I've bought balloons for her birthday for the past 5 years. Never have any of them smelled this strongly. It's a mix of an unusually strong latex smell + the toxic smell of the ink. We bought 144 of them, but we may not be able to use them. :/ I'm waiting to see if the smell lessens. If it doesn't. . . I'm pretty sure it'd be headache inducing. (My 8 year old, who loves all things emoji, is recommending that we get rid of them, based on the smell.)Update: When my husband came home from work the very first thing he said, "It smells awful in here! Is something off-gassing? We have to open the windows!" And I'd even been running an air purifier for hours. So, for us, these balloons are unusable. Went to the Dollar store tonight and bought bags of plain yellow latex balloons. The difference in smell is enormous. Yes, latex balloons have a specific smell. These Emoji Universe Emoji balloons smell like latex x 10 with an added layer of chemical smell. Honestly, I'm now really surprised by all the reviewers who specifically said that the smell of these balloons wasn't as bad as others were saying. Maybe they got a different product??

These were purchased for my childrens' birthday party and they were such a hit. They're still inflated after 5 days, now, except the ones they purposely popped, only a couple have shrunk (which is still fun). Dont't know why they're so trendy, but the kids universally attacked them. Great product, even if a couple were strangely misprinted (which was amusing anyway).Edited to add: Over a month after this review, I finally popped the balloons with scissors. I think they would've lasted forever. LOL

These balloons reek of gasoline! At first, I chalked it up to being manufacturing and packaging, but the smell never went away. I put one balloon opening in between my lips to try filling the thing with air, and the taste made me run to the kitchen, gagging into the sink. Unbelievable! I immediately dumped the whole batch outside because of the smell and my living room still stunk all the way into the next morning! Out of curiosity, I did use an air pump then to fill up a few of them. I am sad to report, the emoji faces do not even sit at the center of the balloon; they are off-set lower, closer to the tie-off. I admit this latter complaint is purely cosmetic but for the sake of the former complaint, do NOT buy these balloons (especially if you have children) -- they will make you SICK!Attached is a cross-section photo of one balloon. I was nervous to purchase these for my husbands birthday, after reading some of the reviews. However, I am so glad I did! They are GREAT...and the "smell" that some reviewers mention is the typical balloon latex smell, and it is not anything extreme and they certainly don't "reek"! I will be ordering more towards the end of the month for our daughters birthday she has already requested them!
