A modern book that looks and feels nice to the touch. Content is good still reading.

Okay I feel a bit cheated. The pictures make it look like the dust jacket is cloth or leather, but it's just a plastic cover, and the book without it does not look that aesthetic. I'm sure the content of the book is still excellent, but it's hard to not feel robbed when I specifically dropped 60 dollars to get a special looking copy. This version also retails for much higher prices on other websites, too, so it could have been even worse

This review is intended for the quality of the book - not the content of it. There are many other sources for that. Besides, I haven't read it yet, so I'll keep it about the quality.This book is gorgeous inside out. It will be the center piece of my bookshelves. That's all for now (ha).

This book is a fantastic read for anyone who enjoys philosophical thought and the practice of stoicism. This book has really helped me with understanding when something is beyond the power of my will and how I should react to unfortunate situations that I have no control over.
