Gerber D606325BN Tub Spout, Brushed Nickel

Ordered this online as it was the only place I could find an 8 inch spout that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Still using it today

I purchased this spout to use with the American Standard Evolution bathtub (also purchased on Amazon), which needed a longer reaching tub spout due to the small deck around the top of tub. I compared what was available at my local home improvement stores. The quality of this Danze spout is very good and the finish still looks new after 8 months of daily use by multiple family members (in a tub/shower combo bath). It has the perfect reach for the tub, so the water pours into the tub and not on the edge of the tub and tub overflow. The spout is also more narrow and sleek than what I found in my local stores, which had wider and less attractive spouts in the same length. I installed the spout myself without any problems.

The spout is very nice, seems well made however, there does not seem to be a flow controller (dont know what its called) within the spout as I have seen in other ones so the water sprays. Despite that very happy with product

This is a steal at the price I got it for; under $20.00 sent to the house. I have done a bit of plumbing work over the past 40 or so years. My grandfather owns 11 rentals and I worked with him as a kid and now do all the work at the properties, now. If you need a great, solid, extra long tub fill, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU! I am extremely happy with my purchase and would buy Danze products again from this seller. Shipping was quick, too! There is nothing they could have done better because every aspect of the sale, shipping and product has turned out to be EXCELLENT! Thanks very much!

This is a good spout, it looks good and had the perfect amount of extra length that we needed.The reason I gave it 2 stars is due to the poor instructions.For a 1/2 slip fit onto a copper stub out, the instructions say to trim the stub to 1 2/5" to 1 4/5"...(I've never seen a measurement in 5ths before)Which immediately looks like a typo. Then when sliding on the spout to the stub you have to give it some force so that it slips over the o ring about an inch inside the spout. Being scared of damaging the oring I didn't push hard enough, and assumed that the stub was still too long as it still had a fab to the trim. Thinking that the instructions meant 1 2/8, and 1 4/8 (which in itself would still be weird) So I cut back the stub even more. This leaked as the spout was not over the stub properly. After removing the trim, I gained enough length to get the spout on properly. But, it means we now have a very short stub out should we need to replace it in the future,and it looks a bit ugly without the trim.Overall a poor experience.
