No longer do I live in Spain, but this sure sates mt cravings for fabada. It’s the real deal. However, the description describes each can as serving two persons. Not so. Each can only serves one.

Used to buy this product at the local supermarkets while living in Miami; however (and not surprisingly) it is not available at our current location. This is a great way to enjoy it again!

The Best Traditional Bean Stew...Fabada
I write this for fans of fabada asturiana. I was hooked on this rich bean stew from Asturias with smoked meats, blood sausage (morcilla), and the important smoked Spanish paprika. when I lived in Spain. And I lived in three parts of Spain for over seven years. So It this description doesn't make you hungry, bye. God's world has a lot of choices.And, at risk with Amazon's editors, I say that I would buy it from the Spanish food US website www..tienda.com. But they no longer carry it. They will sell you the huge white beans and most of the hard-to-get ingredients. And then you have a project on your hands. Start by soaking overnight.El Ebro is the closest I know of to the real thing, with no extra work involved. I love their fabada, and their caldo gallego too, and I recommend them.

It's the real deal...
Authentic Spanish fabadas! Soooo many of you are asking, why would anyone buy this disgusting canned bean product? I lived in Spain - Seville- for 2 years and this was a staple. It's the equivalent to Raman noodles, fast, easy to cook and so tasty! Truth, when I needed a quick meal, I always had a can of fabadas ready to heat up on the pot. This Ebro brand comes really close but is slightly more watery than the fabadas I remember. But the taste is spot on - impressed it includes real torino, Marcella, y chorizo!

It tastes like the Potaje mother used to make.
This was very tasty . Very authentic bean soup.

Not bad
A little skimpy (a lot actually) on the meat, but the taste was pretty good. Of course nothing like the real thing but I wouldn't expect that from something in a can.
